USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

Started by Ushgarak328 pages

Just clarified the position at the jail- do bear in mind there's a lot of firepower gathering against you.

We should have a group of people help hold off these Yeomen, while another goes ahead to the lift.

Well, let's put it together then!

To the departure lists! Via the net(gun) shop. I want lots of nets.

Well, nets aren't impossible, but you'd have to hit the streets to find such a thing. Perception + Savoir Faire! A big penalty if no Savoir-Faire.

As for the lists- what will the approach be?

Go to the port admin, and introduce ourselves.
"we're on the trail of a wanted fugitive. Could you give me a list of all planned departures over the next 72 hours, with destinations and passenger lists if possible. Thank you."

Hey all,

I was a little ambitious into this game. I'm having a hard time following the story and getting the hang of things. I'm going to bow out of this game and play a couple side missions before coming back if thats alright with errbody.
See you at the next join point.
Cheers,
John

Sorry to hear it, but see you at some point hopefully.

(OOC: Do you mean Iffa or Kara Katai, Digi? Iffa has a detailed bio and description in the character creation thread.)
IC: "She has evaded a larger number of Jedi than us before. But they were surprised. We will be prepared."

I meant Iffa, but whatever we have on Katai works too. It'll make it easier for me to seduce identify her when we run into her. But I'll look up your bio in that thread, thanks.

...

"Ah. Well, that's better. If we were scared of her, I'd be upset. If she's scared of us, that makes more sense. So let's get going. You can explain this plan as we walk.

Once we get there and Iffa begins his search, I don't want to be directly with him. I come in about a minute after him and search for a room or terminal that looks like it might have our information. My astromech follows me closely. Ush, do I see anything?

Anyway, Iffa, if you don't get what you're looking for, be ready to be a distraction. My astromech ("Gator"😉 should be able to get our info in no time with access.

That sounds a handy little droid! If I hit a wall, I'll cause a tea urn to fall over, or filing cabinet to fly open and the papers to fly out or something so the droid can do the business!

That will be an Intrusion roll to do that quietly, Tilulla. You have that? Iffa will need to make a social roll too, ans that droid is not quiet- though people do tend to tune out droid noise.

They are stalling on that information, Iffa. They raise several objections- the sheer volume of material involved. The fact that many people book very close to departure. And the fact that may tickets around here are sold on conditions of confidentiality; they say that unless you can establish that a wanted criminal is going to be on one of those ships, they don't feel obligated to help.

I give my droid the same instructions Iffa gave for what we need. I may be able to provide a second distraction, since I'm technically not needed to access the information. Iffa, I'll wait on you to make a move before making my own.

SKILLS

Lightsaber Score: 5
Combat: 4 (Fixed)

Guns: 3
Observation: 2
Savoir-Faire: 2
Languages: 1
Leadership: 1
Medicine: 1
Survival: 1

...not sure if any of that helps, Ush, but those are my stats.

Ah- sadly, you are many things Tilulla, but a sneak you are not. Clearly you are more 'direct' with these things.

Do I get any sense of the reasons why they are stalling? Are they just being awkward, or malicious?

Probably awkward. Jedi poking around might find all sorts.

"I'm a Jedi. You need not be concerned about my confidentiality."

That doesn't help much- the confidential traffic might be illegal. Or at least keen not to have the law near them.

Is there something I could cause to fall over to cause a distraction?

To what ultimate end?

So the droid can access the terminal?

You need an extended period of distraction for that, and without Intrusion Tilulla cannot find the relevant access point.

Mmmm.... Think I'll go back to my original line then.
"so I have to pass your names on to the Bureau for aiding the escape of a highly dangerous fugitive? Come. Let's start with the destinations only."
