((Erm, act or wait...
Aw hell, either way this is going to lead to a fire fight, may as well make an entrance.))
After a moment of hesitation Wentar steps forward, in front of Lady Thea. "This is a Lady of your world! You cannot deny her her rights!" He shouts, in his best grasp of the language. "To do so would end in disaster!"
((Sorry if this ends badly guys. I just figured it's better to try and do something then regret not trying anything. Would this be a Persuade? Intimidate? Or Royal Screwup?))
My opinion, but as noted I'm the only one in this 😛, is that Thea should ask to get through while we should keep ourselves silent.
No need to yell or fiddling with your sabres, it's not something that radiates "we wanna have peace!".
If something must be said, it is best to convince the Zaari why we are right in doing this. If they can come to understand our orders and understand that we will make sure they are not punished for not following orders by letting us through, they will be more helpful.
"Esteemed residents of Thaos, this is not how things need to be. We do not wish harm upon you. The degradation to violence is in your hands, not ours. Our wish is only to pass by and allow Lady Thea her full apportioned rights.
Prudent individuals such as yourself must understand that despite our status as outsiders, and the disagreement between the Ladies, there is no real need for violent action. All we wish to do is enter the chamber and allow Lady Thea to speak.
However, if you continue to refuse I must appeal to your rationality. You have seen us separated, disjointed and fleeing. Yet still we survive. We do not wish violence upon you, but if you fire upon us. If you initiate violence, we will reciprocate in full force. We do not wish to cause this loss of life, this tragedy, today. But we will not hesitate if you initiate it.
It is within your interests to stand aside. Stand aside, and observe. Then act. Prudence dictates that you side with they who you percieve to be the strongest. Let us enter, and observe the proceedings before making your decision.
You fell upon me and my kin upon our arrival to this planet. We had no ill will towards you then, and we still do not. Look around you, See the planet you inhabit. Your population decimated by warfare. A cycle of violence has torn your cities apart, do not instigate this cycle again."
Jelena will try her hand, since she already has developed a good grasp of the language.
"Please, stay your hands," Jelena says. "There is no need to draw on us, for we do not wish to draw on you. We have been painted as invaders come to conquer your world from our Republic. We are not. We stand by Lady Thea because she has shown us leniency and kindness. I implore you, stand down and allow the Lady to speak before the Assembly. We need not fight!"
