I'm fine with that. We know they won't tell us much. The most we can probably hope for is being prepared and able to respond fast if and when she strikes.
Iffa, I propose we request our own unit of their guards to deploy as we see fit if disaster strikes, so long as we abide by their laws and such. It will give us a wider net, so to speak, and allow them to think they're keeping tabs on us with their own men.
Or maybe two units, one for each of us? Tilulla will definitely push for that, just to warn you in advance.

Waiting for you outside the ship are a buzzing insectoid being and three humans. Two of the humans have sidearms and their look screams 'security'. The third is dressed in more casual gear and moves to greet you.
"Master Jedi, this is Calthaziz, one of the Vault Co-ordinators. He is pleased to handle any questions you may have about security arrangements and listen to your worries."
Iffa explains the situation. "We are trailing a very dangerous and highly wanted fugitive by the name of Kara Katai. She is a powerful force user who has been around the galaxy aggressively stealing artefacts from a range of locations. Her thefts are unusual in that they often result in the utter destruction of the locations. We have traced her here. This means one of two things. Either she is looking to steal something here, or she is using your services to store her stolen artefacts."

Jelena will begin by asking the Assembly if only the Consul has the right to speak in what she assumes is a democratic body, and asks that she be given the floor to prove that the Jedi come before them in peace.
Jelena takes a deep breath before addressing the Assembly again.
"Assembly of Thalos. My name is Jelena Bendu, Jedi Knight and a protector of the Galactic Republic. We are conducting an investigation to locate Lady Adelmo and Kara Katai, for both are wanted criminals inside the Republic. We came to Thalos because we had followed a lead based upon the remarkable abilties of the venerable Zaari.
"We arrived as diplomats, not knowing what we would find on Thalos but hoping that we could find assistance in our search. It was your Consul that lured us into a trap and deployed the yeomen against us, unprovoked. We defended ourselves until Lady Thea came to our rescue and saved us from certain death.
"The Consul is trying to paint us as invaders, and I can understand the image. We have inflicted heavy losses in your military. But it was in self-defense. Had we intended to carry out an invasion of your world, we would not have tried to gain entry to this Assembly by peaceable means. We would not have run from battle. We would have carved a swath throuugh to this very room. But we are not the Sith and do not want your blood or to become kings and queens of this planet! We wish for the guidance and wisdom of your people, to stop a far greater evil.
"Yes, we liberated Thea's Ladies-in-Waiting from their prison. But it was what Lady Thea and ourselves perceive to be unlawful detainment, for they were arrested and jailed simply because Thea disagrees with the Consul. Only someone paranoid and self-serving would do such a thing. Would this Assembly have done so? Does this Assembly agree with such actions? I am hoping that you see how worrisome that is.
"I implore you, Ladies of Thalos, to see that we want no further conflict between the Jedi and your people. We need your help to continue our investigation, and to leave this world on, at the very least, tranquil relations, though we hope for friendship.
"What say you, Ladies? Do you allow the Consul's insecurities in her own leadership to dominate this body, and persecute us as invaders? Or do you grant us pardon for our intrusion and accept our request for assistance and comraderie?"
Jelena waits patiently to see what affect her words have.

(I think Jedi throwing down their weapons isn't much of a sign, since we can pick them back up with the Force. We'd have to be willing to have them taken away, and once they were gone Aquilla would have us killed. Our argument needs to be directed at everyone BUT Aquilla. We need to get the others to see that Aquilla is being a Dictator, and they're losing their voices. We don't sway the crowd, it's a fight; and it will be a bad one.)
