The poles are traditional tribal fare. Held by people at each end, the girls jump over them or limbo under them as needed, the bearers altering their heights constantly.

Talking to the chief, Ascar now points at Roan.

Wentar is gonna make a move to the food table. Trying to be casual and mingle with the Atrii despite the language barrier.

Though I wonder what Ascar is up to! Maybe he's gonna ask Roan to dance. 😛

Hopefully the pointing is, "that guy wants to talk to you in a very respectful way."

The thumping of the drums fill the cave now as the girls dance and jump and twirl in time with the music.

As Xeth goes to head back and watch, some of the Atrii seem to be trying to get his attention.

Wentar is socialising as well as he he can- it is a Charisma + Languages roll, and so it is only fair to ask Jelena if she wants to join him.

The chief comes over to you, Roan.

"Tak! Tak!" he says, gesturing you over.

I will walk over to the chief then.

The chief is actually leaving the main cave, beckoning you.

You find your eyes still drifting over to the chief, Gallagher.

Alright, well I'll go with him.

Xeth will go see what the Atrii want. Despite his slightly altered state of mind, he will see if he can Sense anything.

Ok, then the chief is leading Roan into the cave network.

Xeth- they are pointing at the dancing!

Xeth will gesture to himself as well, then gesture to the dancing, to see if they want him to dance.

What skill is required for dancing? Xeth's probably pretty damn good.

Gallagher trails at a distance, using Presence to keep the attention of the chief off of him so that he can see what is going on without interfering.

Athletics, for this sort of dancing!

D'an is with you, Gallagher, and there are others around.

Alright, then Gallagher is just tailing, notice or not.

Xeth will get in line to join the dancing, then, having an Agility of 5 plus his Vigilante bonus of +2. He will leap over the poles with as much grace as he can muster.

Jelena will attempt mingling along with Wentar, to see if she can get working on a rough understanding of the Atrii language.

Do I still get my bonus if I am not using Intelligence with the skill?

No, but I often just throw out bones to a Scholar speciality.
