The one issue with forming a defensive ring is that they get to pick where they attack. You may not target a supermook unless already engaged, though you can leave instructions to attack one if one comes near you.
I'm pretty sure everyone grabbed knives, actually. I know Rianna did. Though she's not using it.
And eesh, some of these guys are nasty. I predict the guy with the slingshot is going to be a pain in the ass.
However, for now, clearing out the knife-wielding mooks would be best, I think. Rianna's setup looks fine (though it appears that her stuff that's not currently swapped in doesn't exist...😛).
And being the extremely violent person she is, Rianna's going to make the first attack on a knifey mook.
Galder is going to get to stabbing against a knifey mook as well. We should take them out first since they distribute higher damage than the unarmed goons.
"Have it your way," Galder says as they start being flooded by the goons of the Green, and the first one to come near him promptly gets knifed in the stomach and pushed to the ground.

Rianna very much kills her first target. Galder knives one full on. Xavier's first touch is a bit light though; just one success.
Rand begins a Grip! One of Rianna's attackers starts to choke and struggle...
Dak's schticks give him an easy kill, as do Rah's. Relle's barrage of dice give her one as well!
Azarl gets four successes on his attack roll, causing the spikey alien to stop at oince and grasp at his throat...
Some non-movers from the Dark Side, I see...

The bigger people go to those of you showing spirit with kills! Ears goes for Rianna. He scores just one success, but that is enough for four damage.
Double Axe goes for Galder. Two successes inflicts 5 damage!
Girder dude swings at Rah. He scores just one success... but that is six damage, thanks to the girder's natural 4 damage and his Power Attack! Ow!
Slingshot fires at Relle... but misses.
There is a red blur, and something streaks overhead of all of you.
The red girl then punches Azarl in the face- not a great attack, only for three damage, but instantly breaking the Grip.
