USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Started by REXXXX438 pages

Just a thought, but Dak's pool should be two dice more.

Oh, I must have had his Dex and Agility mixed up. My bad!

Meanwhile, this link with the Light Side is doing you well, as you have initiative again.

Xavier, this time, gets a solid and unarguable kill.

Con makes up a kill from last round, and this round uses a Flying Assault tap to destroy another! This would be a precise flying kick if you were a Jedi; if you want to do something more Dark Side and vicious, go ahead!

Relle, still untroubled, gets two rounds worth of kills but then just fails to get the third. It takes Rianna's final die to get her kill this turn!

Azarl gets a couple of good blows in on the Red Lady, who is about to blur out to retreat when Rand gets her with a full on display of power! He flings her bodily out of the inner ring, past the outer ring and onto an exposed piece of pipework, impaling her. That'll teach her to be all fancy-like!

Rah is not using the knife this turn, but goes for a vicious Flying Assault! With the penalty, he rolls only one success. However, this is improved to four successes by the tap, and that's a total of nine damage! That certainly hit him harde, Rah, and he is slowing... but still up!

Galder is going for an all out blow on his opponent. It's a good blow of four successes, causing nine damage and knocking the guy down- he gets no attack this turn! Nasty; he is badly wounded.

Dak goes for spiky. He gets two successes on his first attack, and is annoyed to only do two damage- Spiky is armoured! On his second attack, Spiky gets in first with a Streetfighter tap, though it is again only a glancing blow for three, reduced to two. Dak manages three in return.

Their turn!

Though mook numbers are thinning, you are worn out.

Girder alien is going for a kill shot on Rah, tapping Power Attack. He hits for 11 damage- irritated to find that this has not yet dropped Rah, who is pretty tough, but the blow knocks Rah down, losing him his next action.

Spiky then finally rolls well against Dak, with a very solid hit. Another good slingshot attack gets Xavier. Ears, on the other hand, totally misses Rianna.

Oh, ouch, I'm about one turn from going down...greeeeaaaat.

(I'm thinking this fight may have been a bit stacked against us...)

So, anyway, Rianna's going to switch tactics a bit. First, since you said the knives and small and fiddly enough for us to switch around with without taking up a turn, she's going to pull that out, and then Combat Push on Ears. For her bonus attack on him, she's going to tap Feint and use Strike, with her knife.

Dak summons his anger and Pushes Spiky back for a little room, then slips his knives away and attacks Spiky barehanded with swift, strong blows.

Combat Push, hoping for that bonus attack. Swap TW out for SF.

Well, at least one of you is not playing, which does not make the fight any easier.

True ermm

Would be handy if Haron's player had logged on in the past month...

Xavier will bring in Focussed Blow for Feint and tap it along with MA.

This turn he attacks Girder

You are not next to girder. Getting to him would involve breaking your place in the circle and taking a bunch of free attacks.

What about double axe?

Anyone in the outer ring not bracketed after the name of the character in person is not next to them.

And you know, it never occurred to me that Rianna would not have Defensive Leap...

If you are a fighter but not a tank, it is a very handy power. You need to be able to safely disengage sometimes.

I used to have it...think it was one of the ones I lost in the conversion to the new system.

You've had a ton of xp to spend since then.

Yeah yeah and I was hoarding it for something else.

I don't think I actually noticed I was missing that power until just now when you pointed it out. I mean, I still refer to Flurry as Combination half the time 😛

And you never had it any way, so the blame is all yours!

...thought I did. Huh. Maybe I'm combining Matrix with SW or something.

Hell, even Galder has it.

Swap SF in for PA. Having stabbed his target full in the arm, he finishes up with Double Axe by punching one of his knife wounds.

"ouch" Rah says shaking his head

Xavier goes for a knife guy instead without making the swap.

Rah should use Defensive Leap to not be smashed down this turn.

Azarl will strangle an unarmed guy with Grip that is attacking Rianna.
