I think Chun could be very useful, with little danger to us.

Not to mention he's probably very lethal and very tank-like. I stick with my original suggestions.

I agree with the purchase list.

Almir was our first 'supporter' and having a geologist about in a mine could be useful. Kuylen certainly made use of him.

Orikan's ability to jury-rig is excellent. Galder wants to see what kind of things he can do.

Korwin's killed a lot of people, and there are a lot of people that need killing down here.

Chun is a big bastard, enough said.

Sneaky and intelligent Kai can help supplement our own sneaky folk.

Ranto there may be something more to... but even if there isn't, it shows that we will protect those willing to serve us and more may come.

8 Grunt - 4
3 Heavy grunt - 3
Almir Salan- Geologist - 1
Orikan Rhang - Pirate - 3
Korwin Ving - Machete Psychopath - 2
Chun Sorenn - Big Alien - 4
Kai Feskin - Thief - 3
Ranto - Useless - 1

Indeed, Chunn appears to be useful...

Okay, to speed things, I agree with Galder's list, but with Det Darvaad instead of Korvin Ving, as Det may be more sane. How about this?

Hmmm...

Galder wants to ask Korwin and Det what sort of people they have killed, and why Det hasn't killed anyone since he got here.

Korwin doesn't care, and Det wants to know why he should have done.

I also agree with Rexx's list.

Just a point, whilst he can't advise on mineral exctraction, can Almir advise which rock formations would be better to attack in order to break an alternative access into Red. Cuz if we can jury rig weapons, we may be able to jury rig some tools for breaking rock.

As for the useless dude, I suspect he'll come into his own when we get into Red...

He can answer that pretty easily- you need industrial-grade powered drilling equipment and engineering for support structures to make usable tunnels anywhere.

As for Ronto he is amphibious so perhaps his ability to breathe under water maybe helpful to us

"We had to kill a lot of people when we got here, before anyone knew who we were," Galder says to Det. "Is that not the norm?"

"Only when you pose yourselves the way you do."

Do we have anything approaching a plan yet?

As far as planning goes, Galder thinks that we should try to fashion some sort of protection for ourselves, so that we aren't so vulnerable trying to storm the door up to Red. This could be in the form of low-grade armor or portable shields.

Then, Almir's commentary on rockslides might be helpful. We could try filling up the trench with rocks, or causing rocks to drop onto the guards.

Galder also wants to make bows or slingshots for us to use, so that fighting those bowmen guarding the door won't be as much trouble.

I can't think of anything besides a straight charge on the doors, especially if we're going to keep Ranto around.

I'm hoping I'm not going to be the only one making plans. We all know how well my plans work out.

Given we're supposed to be the 'nasties' maybe we should set to work on dominating all the people around here to organize a slave relay system to move all the loose rocks and boulders up to the trench to start getting it filled in whilst we work on producing some projectile weapons to fight the guards from a safer distance.

The trench is guarded by the small army.

A straight charge on the doors fails for several reasons.

First, you'll be trapped in the trench.

Second, you'll be destroyed by the murder holes.

Third, the doors are closed.

Well, unfortunately, I haven't really got any ideas at all...

Would it be possible to cause a mini rockslide with using the force to cause it?

Also did anyone think of maybe trying to reopen the vent back up into Red?

You can throw rocks around but this place is a constructed mine- especially up on red- and the corridors are machined with overlaid walls etc. Besides, if you ever genuinely cause a rockslide it is as likely to kill you aa anyone else. The worst thing to do in a mine you are inside is make it structurally unsound.

The vents have been effectively destroyed.

We need to find a way of crossing the trench, then. Perhaps we could make a bridge and form a sort of phalanx using scrap metal shields? That way everyone is covered- people carrying the makeshift bridge are inside the box of scrap metal shields, that sort of thing.

As for the murder holes, they are part of the metal extensions, yes? If we get close enough we can access whoever is within those murder
holes maybe?

The doors are the biggest problem. We don't really have anything that can get through them.

Ok did we ever find out how Red gets its supplies like water, and food?

The guards drop off food; Red keeps it all.

Blue, incidentally, feeds on Green...

Scrap metal shields are a possibility. Formation work needs good leadership though.

Probably the most dangerous place to tackle murder holes is at point blank!
