USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

No, clearly not the thugs! It's wider than a human or similar lifeform can jump.

Alright just wanted to make sure. Then what do you guys think about my suggestion. It would separate our forces but it could take them by surprise.

I think that would've been the plan anyway. It'd be really lame for the people who can jump the trench to shuffle across the bridge two at a time.

Reason I want Galder to cross the bridge is so he can keep their attention and stay in their way so they can't remove the bridge once it is in place.

Do we want to do like Rand suggested and have a Forcie put the bridge in place? Or do we want the bridge carried so they can all three focus on the door?

Pfft. Rianna's jumping the trench for sure.

Where do you want her in your plan, there, Jordan?

Probably jumping across once Galder and Chun are across the bridge, along with everyone else on the Dark Side. I don't want to just use our thugs as a meat-grinder tactic. Getting the bridge down and having us Darkies get across the trench first gives them a chance to run across and help us start killing rather than getting picked off before they are even useful.

Wooo.

Also, Rianna's got Coordination, so she'll be pretty damned hard for anyone with a ranged weapon to hit while they're getting into place.

Yup; success in this scenario will depend on you bearing all of your capacities in mind.

Ush, if those of us with high Defenses and Coordination went out in front of our little army, could we potentially draw enemy fire? That way they don't pick off our thugs or injure our civilians/weak fighters.

Depends on your behaviour, but you can certainly give it a go.

I like this plan with Galder and Chunn leading the thugs across the bridge while others jump throuh the trench.

So Ush, rougly how many actions one needs to get to the door with the girder and how long the door will be closing, according to our estimation?

Gallador will remain behind, as he has no Combat score.

The only answer I can give on that is 'several'.

Sounds good to me. Those with Coordination should just act really offensive and charge while everyone else stays behind.

Let the thugs just carry the bridge. That way you three Lifters can roll together and get the girder in the way of the door quickly.

Con also has co-ordination, but he's not quite as effective in a fight of course. Also I think he's still somewhat injured. Should I charge, too, perhaps retreat before anything too bad happens or stay with Rand and Gallador and the others, since I guess I'm the only one who can effectively protect himself.

Oh, geez, yeah, I forgot about the damage we had from before. How much did we eventually manage to heal? Cos Rianna was really high up there on damage...

Oh yes, Gallador actually has the healing force power...

Alright, just to get damage figured out.

Here's where everyone sits after taking off 20 damage from resting. Numbers are Medicine/Damage.

Dak: 5/31
Relle: 0/11
Galder: 5/21
Rianna: 5/29
Con: 5/35
Rand: 6/0
Azarl: 7/16
Rah: 48
Gallador: 0/3
Xavier: 4/44

Our fighters should be getting the better points of medical treatment, since we're the ones doing the fighting.

I don't think we ever assigned who was healing who.

Rand volunteered to heal Dak and Rah.

Azarl should get Xavier and Rianna.

Galder will heal himself and Relle.

Dak can heal Gallador and Con.

Rianna can patch up Azarl.

Dak: 19
Relle: 1
Galder: 11
Rianna: 15
Con: 25
Rand: 0
Azarl: 6
Rah: 36
Gallador: 0
Xavier: 30

That looks good.

Also, just to chart what equipment we have...

Dak: Improvised Axe*, Knives x2
Relle: Slingshot, Knife
Galder: Girder*, Knife
Rianna: Knife
Con: Knife
Rand: Knife
Azarl: Knife
Rah: Improvised Axe*
Gallador: Knife
Xavier: Knife

Galder originally gave the axes to Rah and Rand but I think Dak could make better use of it. That okay, fearless leader?

And of course, everyone has shields and knives.

And as Jordan just suggested to me, and I'm passing the suggestion along...whatever defensive combat powers you have, definitely have those in immediately. Running across isn't going to do any good if you get dropped right away doing so.

And speaking of that, is there a decent place where those using Lift to open the doors can be in cover? If they get taken out by potshots, we're all screwed...

Nope, as I said. It's a deliberately created kill zone and there is no cover.
