As for teaching- yes he can... if you maintain good relations with him.

Rianna doesn't really like the idea of such a link...but at the same time, she's pretty curious about it...she wouldn't mind giving it a go at learning that herself.

Rand is all for that. Ascar has been nothing but helpful here.

"Ah well, here we come down to it. I think we could be of help to each other. Adelmo is after something. A myth it may be, but she knew much from her job on Thalos and has learned more since. I want what she knows and what she is after. The Jedi are no good- they'll just stop her, and she needs stopping eventually of course but that's no good to me as is. But you people... you can ride this all the way and see where she is going. If you are willing to take the risk and play her game, then maybe we can win all."

"No... but I think Eller told her there was a way she could make it happen. I cannot be certain; I left long before the war ended."

"Yes I think this could be mutually beneficial," Xavier puts is verdict in.

"She was weaker then," Galder says. "I bet she's got every intention of going back there and dominating everything with whatever power she is able to accrue."

"I'm game if you back us, Ascar," Galder continues. "The Force knows we've got nothing going for us currently... except one thing."

"Eller is her Seer, right? I wonder why she follows Adelmo, not being so much under her influence as others. Do you have any suspicion what could motivate her?

Also, what was Adelmo's position on Thalos?"

No, he's not sure about that- but Eller is important enough to Adelmo that she lets her be her own person.

"Adelmo was the Chief Librarian; in control of all their history. And it so happens that Thalos aqs directly in the invasion path of the Sith in ages past. There is a lot of Sith history in those parts of the galaxy, if you know where to look."
