Rand will keep him levitated in the air as he revitalizes his body and talks with Galder. He also uses the Force to call a knife to him, placing it in his belt, before addressing his captive.
"Hello," Rand says, flashing a grin. "I have some questions for you, if you don't mind. I'm rather curious about what goes on in his prison, as I'm sure most new inmates are. What is your name?"
Using a bit of intimidation Rah approaches the captive and sings menacingly whilst slicing the air with the knife
"Alven, Alven, well what a to do
I'm gonna slowly slice bits off a you
Let you tongue go, start to talk
Maybe from this you may still even walk
But silence is definitely not your friend
It will surely mean a painfully slow end
So talk now, let you tongue be free
And I may hap the end will be quick for thee..."
He touches the blade to Alvens throat and looks to Galder "Care for a slice?"
"I THINK," Rand says, loudly, to cut out the threats of violence that keep coming, "that Alven here gets the point."
As an act of good faith, Rand will release Alven from the Grip of Death. He does keep him levitated in the air, though.
"Alven, we are on the Red Level, correct? How much do you know of the going-ons of this level? Is there someone in charge or is just mayhem? The more you tell me, the happier I'll be with you, trust me."
It will be Azarl this time that Grips Alven.
"They told us Red, Green, Blue, then Black," Azarl says, repeating what the guard said. "Did we misunderstand or did they not tell us that that was the order?"
Azarl will drag Alven back with the Force, no doubt with the help of Rand.
"Where is the red level?"
Galder shrugs.
"This is useless," Galder says. "We've nabbed ourselves an idiot."
Galder will stride over and stab Alven in the throat, being sure to silence the screaming moron.
"Goodbye, Alven, thanks for the warm welcome," Galder says as he twists the knife and withdraws it. He cleans the blade on Alven's dirty clothes before slipping it into his belt. "We need to move on. At least we know that we were dropped into the green level, not the red. Was the red level where we started? In that shack before we dropped into the tubes?"
"Strange," Rand says. "Something we will need to investigate. We need to reach the red level when the Lady sends a ship to retrieve us, I'm sure... but if we do not know where that is, we may as well end it all here."
Rand uses Grip to pop Alven's heart as he gasps and sputters, silencing him permanently.
"For now, we move on."
Can Rand see a way onward?
Plenty!
This chamber is kind of half built. It's been carved out of the rock and then in many places, including the ceiling, metal walls have been put in place., But a lot of it has been left bare. It seems you are deep enough to the point where this place being a mining complex gives way to it just being a mine.
But it is obviously some type of central point- there are six corridors leading out of it.
