"Can't."

"So what's stopping people from trying to go down there?"

"The lurkers might have adapted to their environment, but there is a limit. There's literally no air that deep."

"I could see how that'd be a problem. So most of the people hang out on green, some on the red, nobody but the lurkers on blue, and nobody at all on black..."

"That's about it. Everyone dreams of getting up to red, really."

"Gotcha. Any big names up on the red level?"

Galder is hoping to hear that Kuylen made it up there but doesn't say it.

"Oh, the leaders of the three big gangs up there."

"Three big gangs, huh? Tell us about them."

"They're just the rulers of this world, if you like. Always fighting each other, but you have to be in with one of the three to ever make it as anyone in this place."

"I figured as much, it's not like the Emperor can come here and tell them to knock it off. What are the big three like? Anything making these gangs unique from each other?"

"Nah, not really. They are all just toughs."

"Who are the big people in charge?"

"Kayda, Torwyn and Zon."

"What do you know about them?"

Meanwhile, I'm sure Almir isn't the only cool cat on the green level. We should start looking for more connections to make.

Okay, Gallador will also take a Persuade approach, then and look for someone to talk to. What about some poltical enemies of Rivas?

What about using lying to impress people on our level that he knows someone on the red?

"What is it you want to know?" he asks.

And there will be a time to look for others- but not now. Because he also has a warning for you guys.

"You won't get anyone else to listen to you. You're all marked men."

Xavier will have gone with Relle as well.

"What do you mean we are marked men?"

"More importantly, why are we marked?"

"Who they are, where they came from, how they came to in power," Galder says, listing off his curiosities about the warlords. "What impresses them, how they operate, so on and so forth. I know you probably can't answer everything, but whatever you know helps."

When Almir mentions that they are marked, he shoots a glance at Rand.

"Generally they beat up anyone who got in their way," he says. "But the problem with you guys... those strange powers one of you has," he says, also looking at Rand. "That's a big no-no down here. Instructions from Red are that anyone showing such powers, or associating with such people, are to be killed as soon as possible. The killers will get a free promotion to red."
