Kratos Versus Ryu Hayabusa

Started by AsbestosFlaygon12 pages

How good do you guys think Ryu would fare against Hades and Cronos?

i think that ryu's speed and agility would do him very well against both.

but in all honesty, kratos' victory against cronos was ridiculous pis. cronos had the opportunity to kill him so many times...

Cronos failed to crush him. First, with his fingers, then with his palm.

Cronos was on the losing end. Kratos was simply much stronger than him.

cronus was an idiot for trying to crush him or eat him at all. thats like trying to crush an ant by closing your fist or putting your hands together. thats retarded.

Ms. Marvel is right, it was complete PIS. ok so Kratos stops his palm smash, he could have easily just slid his hand forward and toppled Kratos and continue to crush him to death. Or instead of dragging his open fingers across his arm... how about flattening his hand over the area where Kratos is? or throwing him on the ground, or in the air... or something... ANYTHING other than have the intelligence of a lawn gnome.

Just like Ganondorf not just tks a Castle and flings it down on Link... It is still a Legit feat, and throwing and He did threw Kratos off.

Not that I'm saying Kratos wins.

Cronos was weakened.

That's what Ganon should do... it's annoying that he doesn't. Maybe Link could then catch the castle and throw it into space, but even if that happened in a cutscene people would be like "the gauntlets only give him the ability to lift things!!!"

Learn the difference between PIS and CIS people. The argument that Cronos fought stupidly would be CIS.

That of course does not somehow negate the massive strength and durability feat of Kratos PUSHING UP his entire right hand. That's right, he didn't just slow it down from crushing him, he successfully pushed it back up too. And then when Cronos tried to bring it down again he stabbed his palm with the BoO. Pushing Kratos off and letting him fall wouldn't have done anything, as Kratos survived the weight of Cronos' fall onto a rock shelf anyway.(another massive durability feat)

And no Ryu would not do well against either Hades or Cronos. He would last long due to his speed yes, but he couldn't actually WIN. He can't even scratch a tank or cut through his fiend bosses or hollow stone statues. Let alone people far more durable than that.

Cronos wouldn't be able to crush Kratos to death with his hands, that part was made clear by Kratos resisting that attempted hand clap. Stepping on Kratos, or falling flat on the guy with a belly flop would have done the trick I assume.
Also, normally when your enemy is an ant compared to you, and you don't have energy blasts and such shit, your natural inclination is to crush it.

Not letting him fall to his death is one instance of CIS, but Kratos can and does use his blades to latch onto Cronos, dunno how much good that would have done.

Meh, Cronos may have fought like an idiot, but it doesn't take away Kratos' feats in that fight. It does negate the whole 'besting' Cronos bit.

To be fair, the gauntlets amp his strength don't they? Though if they actually imply that he cannot lift things without the gauntlets...😐

You mean handicapped. There's no indication that he was weakened, physically at least.

Ganon hasn't shown TK on that level. At most, it's at Kain's level.

Cronos, I can see but Hades? If he's not at his giant size, it's possible that he could win. He would just have a much harder time.

The True Dragon Sword was never used against a tank. Never cut his fiend bosses? Game mechanics. Why do you think Kratos doesn't cut most of the bosses he faces? Game mechanics. All of the bosses in GoW are killed by getting pierced or beat to death with blunt objects (with the exception of the gorgons, Scorpius, Hades, Poseidon, and Hermes).

^Not just game mechanics, cutscenes. I see him making people cough up blood, nothing more usually.

I don't see how Ryu could resist Hades' soul rip, unless he's a demigod/god of some sort.

How did Kratos resist it? Wasn't said as far as I remember.

Does it sound like one? o.o no idea if its a god thing, strong person/will or whatever else.

It was the first part of the Hades fight 😐

Yeah I saw it, but how did he pull his soul back in.

Since Hades couldn't pull it 'out', the soul presumably just went back 'in'. As for Kratos resisting, most likely will-power.
