When has Ganon ever stopped Link with Golden Gauntlets on?

Can't you just.... walk past the chest with them in?

No, because you will never complete Ganon's castle without them. Fire Medallion room.

I thought Link had a grappling hook or something to latch onto things.

A longshot isn't going to lift a 1000+ ton rock and toss it into lava. Nor is it going to bring down the barrier around his throne room.

No but it may mean Link in canon could have bypassed those large blocks.

530 tons. Still full against the idea of Ganon being GG strength.

He did. With the GG.

Also, 1000+ tons, rounding down. So says Shin...

Nowhere is it shown that they are in effect outside lifting scenes.

And 530 tons so says Rain >: Even make it 600 for generosity.

based on what? its just a player driven obstacle, theres no storyline that says "link lifted the great pillars" or w/e.

And physics says Link with the smallest movement could not throw it as far as he did, considering he struggled lifting it in the first place.

Ganons never overpowered Link with GG.

Really? In TP without any sort of enhancement he's easily lifting 200 tons, how come it's never in effect outside of lifting? Game mechanics dear sir. He has the strength with the GG's.

This.

Bullshit. Ganon disarms GG Link in the final battle in OoT.

He hits Links sword with a glancing blow, sending a light little sword a few meters and you think that gives Ganon thousands of tons of strength? I lold.

If Link was stronger, do you think he would've been disarmed? No.

GG = gripping power.

Yeh because it was obviously a glancing blow. He was likely not ready for it, tbh I dont think links even as strong as you belive. Otherwise the sword would have gone further.

no, strength. how you grip an object is different to how strnog you are. Tbh the GG look like they would hinder grip, straight, shiny golden plates of metal.

Mortal Draw > Mercer?

The Mortal Draw is simply a sword technique that strikes a certain position that instantly causes death. It's not magical and is more like the fictional touches of death. It's not gonna do a damn thing to Mercer.

What does he lift unaided thats 200 tons?

Knocking the sword out doesnt mean he can now lift those pillars too.
1. Beast Ganon.
2. GG only come into play when lifting, not gripping etc -''Power to lift''-
3. If it was such a strong blow to knock it out of his hands it would of gone so much further then a few meters.

Ganon only needed to knock it outside the barrier he put up. It was a pre-meditated act.

Mortal Draw with a normal sword might be ineffective, but the Master Sword is going to carve Mercer's ass like a Thanksgiving turkey.

So your admitting Ganon didnt even hardly put any strength in the sword, just enough to knock it outside the ring? so the strength required to knock MS is tiny buts its still enough to disarm link.
