A bit late to say this but...At the beginning of Prototype, an innocent woman ran into some soldiers. At first they looked like they were protecting her from the infected civilians but after they mowed them down, one soldier told the other "no survivors". The soldier pulled out a pistol, aimed it at the woman's face, and pulled the trigger. After that, Mercer kills them. Is that evil? No. Is that justice? Yes.
Played the game. Don't think he killed them because they killed her.

A patrol passed by while Mercer was watching them from above and left them alone. After a patrol killed an innocent woman, Mercer suddenly appears out of nowhere and starts killing them. What do you think that tells you?

You and MooCow's definition of evil really doesn't fit with Alex. Also, explain to me why Alex moved the atom bomb away from New York city if he wasn't trying to save the city.
Alex is a dark anti-hero, not in the evil class. By the end he was helping the army to wip out the virus by pumping Bloodtox into the ground (only thing that could slowly kill him) kills Greene and as soon as he hears about the nuke he does everything to stop it. All of his actions a closer to evil but defiantly not there.
See, even an Alex thread cant die 😛
