except for you, you believe Zidane and entire party tanked Ultima, you believe Trance Kuja is stronger than Necron. I bet you are one of those that believe that omnislash is spiritual or cloud is faster than lightning.

I never said Trance Kuja was stronger than him, I asked for proof that that isn't the case considering Necron is featless except for being the final boss.

Necron is eternal

Longevity does not = powerful.

You asked for proof because you suggested that Kuja created Necron which is not true at all. And usually final bosses takes precedence in power over the rest of the monsters. But if you want to call Necron 'featless', fine, then we have no means to prove he is stronger than Trance Kuja. But we can't prove Trance Kuja is stronger than Necron either.

It depends on how you look at it. If you are eternal, you have no limitation to grow in power, for example.

Cloud wasn't walking around fine 3 minutes later now was he?

Maybe because he was the equivalent of those guys you one hit kill at the beginning of FF7?

He did fine getting up after that in ACC, which even included a few more friendly pokes from Sephiroth. (Which isn't included in this battle for anyone who brings it up)

I have no idea what you're talking about Spadey. Plz explain. awestun

Why is it 'not true at all?'

Usually means nothing. You ever played Fable 2?

I can actually. One is more than zero, just as Kuja's feats are above Necron's featlessness.

Untrue. All things have a limit. Eventually a being will plateau in terms of power.

I see no reason to think Kuja created it. If you want to make that claim you will need to back it up.

Explain the relevance with Necron.

Nope, if we have no means to gauge his powers then you cannot claim Trance Kuja is stronger.

Eternal: having infinite duration

Necron is basically a creature of the void. He is similar to CoD and Neo Exdeath, they all talk about either Destroying,Erasing, or Returning existence to the void/zero world. That alone makes him the strongest in the FFIX Universe.

Necron was created by Kuja's fear of death? Right? So in a sense Kuja created him, but not on purpose and he is certainly not Kuja's lackey.

The fact that someone has one more feat does not make them stronger. This site is notorious for basing debates on who can tally up the most "feats".

The Hulk doesn't have a limit in terms of power. This is fantasy. Anything can happen.

I do not, as that was never my intention. I'm just pointing out to you that Necron being some kind of deity of Death, or Iifa tree incarnate, are not the only options. Personally I'd say she's a monster formed from the fear of death in all of humanity. She exists inside Memoria and the Crystal, which are places where the memories and wills of the universe reside, and it matches up and is supported by everything she says.

Your claim that Necron is logically more powerful because she is the final boss is flawed, as that is not the case. Final bosses can be pitiful. Merely being the last does not make her the more powerful.

Yes I can.

Necron is not eternal, as she says so herself.

Well I guess I can't argue with that.

We are not talking about 'one more feat', we are talking about one character who actually has them. Necron does not.

It is claimed that he doesn't, but he's never demonstrated unlimited power.

No one said 'Iifa Tree incarnate' nor 'deity of death', though. Re-read the article. Necron was awoken, not formed. The hypothesis itself is more than plausible. And no, Necron doesn't exists inside the Crystal nor in Memoria, he resides in the Hill of Despair.

Yes, they can be pitiful in gameplay but I believe that's not Necron's case anyway. In canon final bosses are usually the most powerful.

And can you tell me how is Kuja stronger if we don't know the extension of Necron's power?

Necron says that as long as there is life and death he will always exist, so I'd say that's eternal.

I mean Cloud was extremely weak the first time he beat mama's boy, there was no way he was going to remain conscious (w/o something else stupid happening with aside from a grunt killing the FF7 verse strongest character), but after Cloud's enhancements and battle experience when he fought against Sephiroth in ACC he got stabbed multiple times and still managed to get back up.

.....Did this one have anything now that I think of it? 🤨

I never said you did. I was asking. That IS where Necron came from, right? According to the Ultimania or whatever.

And I'm saying it's possible to know that someone can defeat another even without feats.

That's not really the point. The point is the creators don't have to follow the laws of reality. If they say someone has unlimited power they have unlimited power.

😐

I honestly stopped playing FF 9 due to the fact that is diliked Zidane and pretty much, the rest of the cast. Wasn't aware he was that powerful.
