I look forward to this with great anticipation and utter dread at the same time.

I am having flash backs to Zilla98. I saw that turd 3 times in the theater in the vain hope I could fool myself into thinking it was a GOOD MOVIE!

That's a pretty big scale Godzilla comparing the tail to the size of the helicopters....

Although we were told that the GODZILLA we saw isn't the final one, but a composite of what animators are working on, it is still LEAGUES cooler than the pet lizard we got in Roland Emmerich's abyssmal adaptation. This one is the perfect update to the classic man-in-suit costume (complete with very prominant back spikes), even if not the final version, which makes me think that, holy shit, they just might get GODZILLA right this time

I wonder if this Godzilla will have ears.

Rumour: Apparently Godzilla will be fighting Hedorah The Smog Monster.

Teaser trailer for the new film.

I jizzed more than Harry Plinkett after seeing this. I think the best thing was the Oppenheimer quote, which immediately shows that the filmmakers clearly understand Godzilla and the inspiration behind him. Even better was the design, which is virtually identical to the original sans cheap suit. Not to mention Walter White vs. Godzilla. Yeah, this is going to make the 98' version look like a cheap Asylum knockoff, not to mention do justice to the kaiju franchise and give Godzilla the big screen splendor he has always deserved.
