actually the time frame of the story that had hulk and logan fight in the woods then hulk take off and logan catch up to him in the city later down the road would have easily made it into a second issue if they had wanted to if they wanted to fill the space of logan reaching the city or if not at least taken hours for hulk to finally regain his sight.
Are they super sharp? Yes.
Are they indestructible? Yes.
How many times it was stated they can cut through almost anything? A gazillion times.
Does Wolverine have superhuman strength and uber skill to back them up? Yes, yes, yes.
Oh and he did pierce Cap's shield... in a What if
But people still think he shouldn't even be able to cut through an oak.

I don't think that's lame at all. It wouldn't bother me if he cut through galactus' armor, i just think wolverine gets so many wins because of his popularity.
