Hulk has shown to not be cut by wolverine bones claws, he been shown when cut if he was at all to not even be damage enough to bleed. While Rulk has shown to be cut by less and far worse.

Thing is, we didn't even see any scratch. So it's entirely up to debate what happened. He caused him pain, that's what we do know. It's been strongly hinted that he was able to do that because of his skill. So I'd say it was a nerve strike.
To be fair, there's another Hulk/BC Logan fight in which Wolverine cut the shit out of him, but I heard that he was weakened. Separated from Banner or something.
