Here's some stupidity from the Clone Wars cartoon (new one) and how it contradicts the OT.
We all know they STUPIDLY gave R2 those jets so he could fly around (why?), and he never uses them again after Episode 3.
I was watching the Clone Wars the other day and at one point R2 has Anakin sitting on him and they fly up high and around for quite a long time.
If R2 were to have those jets, I would prefer them to let him hover for small distances, he can't possibly have enough fuel to fly up high and all over the place while carrying a load the size of the average human male.

http://www.swtor.com/info/holonet/timeline/peace-republicI'm pretty sure there are a LOT of canonical sources stating that Freedon Nadd destroyed Sadow's spirit. Apparently, the writers for SWTOR continue ignoring continuity. I'm also if Sadow's tomb and Kun's spirits were in different temples. Anyways, lots of questions.
Stupidest SW moment?
"Greedo shot first because I didn't want to make Han a cold-blooded thug."
How does shooting in SELF-DEFENCE make you a "cold-blooded thug?" Greedo was pointing a gun at him and flat-out said he was going to kill him. Letting Greedo shoot first is just stupid and raises the question; if Han is that slow off the mark, how had he survived that long?
And even if Greedo was a rookie, missing at that range is just ridiculous.
That's why I take everything Lucas says with a pinch of salt.
Also, in the PT, the Jedi's view on "romance." Right, so being in love (the most unselfish feeling of all) makes you evil, but one-night stands where you indulge selfish passions without giving a ***** about the other person are good? (Although to be fair, that view was shown to be wrong as it led to the PT Jedi's downfall).

where was it stated that one night stands were acceptable? im pretty sure celibacy is also a part of the jedi code.

In the Clone Wars novel "No Prisoners."

The Jedi are cool with causal sex. You're just not allowed to care about the person.
According to GL (and no I don't have the exact quote, but I'm sure its out there.)
Sex is cool, love is not.
Which of course is completely stupid.

(Although to be fair, that view was shown to be wrong as it led to the PT Jedi's downfall).Maybe Jedi viewed sex as something to enjoy, kinda like enjoying a favorite meal (lol). I mean really though, how is having sex selfish? One-night stand is just two people having some pleasure and some enjoyment which eachother. I don't see why a jedi should not have some time to enjoy things in life.
I actually agree with the jedi's policies about attachement and falling in love. Most of the time when you are deeply in love with someone you would risk anything for that person. You would save the one you love before saving a thousand people who you do not even know. I see why jedi are against attachment. It is too much a risk.
