No, Superman does not one shot Sentry, and yes, Sentry is the epitome of shitty characters.
Superman, think his stats are a tad higher. Also Superman has proven fighting skills and Reynolds is a brawling junkie. Hercules (master H2H fighter) told that Sentry was indeed strong but he has to learn how to fight. Herc was able to embarrass Sentry in their encounter, not because he was stronger or faster or more durable, just using straight skills and swagger . 🙂
