Beatrix (FF9) vs. Cloud (FF7)

Or he got hit by them. Those two options seem to make more sense than the third, which would imply that every enemy they fight has crappy aim.

Of course, whether he is tanking bullets or dodging them, he still has better feats than Beatrix. 😛

....or he aim-dodged. 😬

Plenty of characters fight goons with guns. That doesn't make them bullet-timers.

But of course.

However, since FF VII characters have shown the ability to bullet time in the other works, it(:20) is(5:07) consistent.(1:17)

And then there is Vincent dodging missles at 8:35. I thought it was bullets he was dodging in that scene. 😛

Didn't the threadstarter throw out evidence from outside FF VII?

He said he could make it specific to End Of Game Cloud, before the whole Timeskip business, but he didn't want too.

Not that that would get rid of the bullet timing thing. 😛

Yeah it would. >:C

Plus Dirge of Cerberus is too shitty to be canon.

Not necessarily those are the only available options. We don't know how all the fights are carried out. And as Tac pointed out, a moving target is rather difficult to hit.

They fight standing still. 😮

For the most part anyway.

Oh...that means they're bulletproof, then.

Well that would also be consistent.

The simple fact that some enemies have guns does not mean that anyone who ever fights them is a bullet timer. Nor does it mean the party can tank bullets. There is no canon way enemy fights take place, so very little can be taken from them.

Except of course when they do take place. What with this being, you know, a video game.

Weakened Cloud. And it didn't stop him from getting right back up.

That wasn't the point. You posted a video and tried to say that Cloud is bulletproof, while I've posted a video showing rather the opposite.

And I'm telling you that Cloud surviving bullets gives us more to work with than anything, repeat ANYTHING, Beatrix has done.

Unless you want to prove otherwise. 🙂

Technically it isn't even canon that they do take place. Or which ones they fight. Besides that, like I said, there is no canon way the fight goes down. So there is nothing we can really take from it.

Unless of course, you know, the game makes you. Like those things called boss fights. Gee, the President of Shinra is fighting Cloud with a shotgun. It is impossible for Cloud to run from the fight. The fight doesn't end unless Cloud hits him with something. Will Rufus just stand there and not use his gun? Probably not.

What do you mean? If Cloud gets shot in the head he dies.

Proven wrong.

Ah, okay. When?
