Well they said he's not in because they couldn't fit his board in. Similar reason with Ghost Rider. They said they couldn't fit his bike in. This now has me thinking that Green Goblin's chances are low.

And before anyone brings up the difference between Mugen sprites and hi-res MvC3 sprites, the engine they're using for MvC3 is, literally, millions of times faster and more powerful; Mugen only uses like 16Kb.

Exactly. No matter how "different" people say they are, they're not that much different from each other and Ken's not different enough to warrant him a spot. Especially when there are more unique SF's.
A Hadouken, whether it's fired from the ground or the air, into the air diagonally, or whatever is still a hadouken.
A Shoryuken, whether its normal, or has a slight curve to it with flames, is still... a shoryuken.
A Tatsu, whether standard, enveloped with electricity, or moves upwards is still.... a tatsu
Do people see where I'm going with this?
And I forgot to mention Blade among the deconfirmed characters. Didn't think he was gonna make it anyway. Don't see how they'd make him play much different from Deadpool and Dante.(guns and swords)

ROFL. Can't Bleave U just said that! What Vs games have U been playing where Ryu and Ken have the same strategies? The fact that their moves have similar names and mainly the same input commands is about all they have N common. Their functions R farther apart than ever B4.
Lol, Ryu and Spiderman function more alike than Ryu does with Ken N the MVC series.

The team says they'R tyring 2 remove Nfinities so good bye ROMs. The tricks and hijinx N MVC3 R growing though. And the X Factor is only adding 2 the ridiculousness. U should B very Xcited Bcause they'R going by the "Broken is good" mantra. No nerfs, just buffs. I still think there needs 2 B a balance sumwhere.
Objectively, Ken's moves differ from Ryu's more than X-23's differ from Logan's, or She-Hulk's will differ from Hulk's. Therein lies the problem. It's kind of ridiculous to disqualify a character on the merits that it would be a clone when the game does indeed have [a] clone[s]. From what I can tell there is no real consistent method for which Marvel is picking which characters they want to have in the game. It's like they're pulling the characters out of a hat or something.
So that being the case... I guess there's no reason to say that X character shouldn't be in the game period; even Modok.

The only thing Spider-man has that's a bit similar to one of Ryu's moves is the Spider Sting.
