Watched Raiders all the way through for the first time in ages.
Bloody awesome nigh on transcendental stuff.
Yeah the truck chase, when framed in the movie itself is even better.
(Even managed to evade the thoughts of Indy IV that threatened to form at every turn, all except for a heart sinking "What a shame" when pondering what a great character Marion was, and the warehouse scene at the end.)
Full on volume from the surround and lights down.
Best viewing possible til I get the trilogy on Blu-ray.
Gonna get me some TOD later.
Holy shit.
I did not know that.
Hmmmmmmmm. Thats pretty tempting.
Will have to to see what these extras entail...and also what the remastering/cleaning if any there is on Aliens..
'Cause the soundmix (eqing/mixing of some of the dialogue) sucked on the DVD version, and the uber grainey film quality could benefit from some kinda treatment.
Nope...
And some grain can't be avoided. I have Superman The Movie on BD.... The normal cinematography makes you drule, so beautiful that is... Yet the Krypton exterior shots... damn, that's some snow storm. Film just wasn't fast enough in them days... Still, it's history and when the film's like that... you have to accept it for what it is...
