USH'S GAME EPISODE IV- 'CHASE'- DARK SIDE AREA

Started by Ushgarak91 pages

Trokair, I think was his name... named after a Magic card...

Nayler's eyebrow raises at what you just said, Takuan. "Higher forces?" he asks. "What do you mean?"

Oops... actually, I am not quite sure what you wanted to achieve there anyway- wouldn't they just want to try and rescue her FASTER if they knew reinforcments were coming? Like they now do?

-

Jolanta, who has been caught by the most incredible burst of hatred you have ever seen, has calmed down now, and has been idly poking Chion in the background. Chion is growling.

"You're really freaky," she says to him. "Still, at least you arenl;t as dumb as x-ray boy here!" she says, pointing at Galder. "I mean, way to go, genius! Not only are you going to die, you flooded the whole area so we can't get back in. How are we going to find Persis now?" She turns to Rah.

"Hey, newbie. You got any plans?"

(oh damn.....i forgot she's held here in the building. Oh well..i have to swing it some other way)
"you don't know what or who you could find beyond that entrance.."

Turning to face the others Rah says "I assume Persis had an escape plan when he set the trap on his ship, so therefore he must have another ship somewhere nearby"
With that Rah sits down and closes his eyes and starts to sing very quietly. Using the emotions from his desire to find the Astrolabe he reaches out....

Hmm... there is movement inside the starport, Rah. Maybe not as lethally flooded as you may have feared.

You cannot sense anything specific, but your senses tell you... down... is the way to go...

-

"We'll find Saar and we'll find Latara and my ONLY concern is that we get in there with surprise on our side. Now move."

"oh..please." says Takuan with obvious disgust "don't be naive.."

"Well, Rah? What do you think?" Galder asks Rah. "I'm not one for going back into the starport, and I'm sure you guys aren't either."

"I plan to subdue you, obviously," I say, loking around, also trying to sniff him out (if possible), "and take you back to Kuylen. He'll deal with you." I have lightsaber ready in hand. (how long until I've got my left arm back? Does it need med attention?)

(Slap some bacta on it and it might be okay)

Rah looks up "My senses tell me that we need to be going down" With that Rah stands up and goes to the nearest manhole and uncovers it and takes a good look inside before climbing down.

(We're already level with the sewers, remember Rah?)

Yup, already a long way down! You are currently in a rather cramped sealed-off corridor just outside the main star port in this underground complex.

-

"Feel free to try if you can find me," says Ascar. "but frankly, I am getting rather tired of threats. I already had to ward off one of your friends who came near me, I would hate to have to get you to back away as well.

"You and your so-called 'Dark Side', always threat after threat... blind to the fact that there IS no Dark Side!"

Yup, the arm needs attention.

-

Nayler rises an eyebrow.

"You talk big for a man with a gun to his head. That is the problem with you people- always too complex. A pro keeps it simple."

You will be at the north side in about a minute, Takuan.

"well..it's simple enough. What risks are you willing to take for you and your people..."

Damn.

"I have no need to listen to your philosophical ramblings. What I do need is your knowledge."

(Good comeback. 😉 )

"Rah, you sensed someone moving in the star port, right? The one we came from? Focus on them, see if one of them is a Force-user," Galder orders Rah. "It's probably Persis."

Problem with Persis is that, as a Dark Sider, it's not easy to sense him if he does not want to be found. And Rah is better than you with the Force, Galder, but he's not a force specialist!

This is about all you have- an instinctive feeling that Persis has moved downwards.

-

"What you need is the disc I am carrying with the co-ordinates on," says Ascar's voice. "But I need a better deal than 'do it and I won't kill you'. Nor do I believe you have either the intention or the capacity to keep the Jedi away from me. So I have evened up the scales a little. Can your brain extend to making me an offer?"

-

"I'm not here to talk with you," says Nayler.

"This is pointless," says one of his Lieutenants. "Kill him now."

"We kill him and Saar will kill Latara," says Nayler.

"He's not going to talk Saar into opening up," says the Lieutenant. "She's... already dead, most likely."

"I made a promise to the Grandmaster," says Nayler.

"even if you do succede. Independence will gain you nothing.
You can gain much as our allies, nayler"

"Argh!" Rah says in frustration at not being able to find another way out of the sealed off corridor "I feel that this Persis may be below us somehow but the only way out of here is back into the starport so that's where we're going to have to go!" With that Rah goes back to the door to starport and cautiously tries to open it

Three ways with this. Bypass the lock (ask Jolanta), blow it up (ask Galder) or cut it open. It is a blast bulkhea,d but you have plenty of time.

However, you are not sure how dangerous it is in there. What does Galder think?

-

"There is NO option less preferable than allowing the return of the Sith," says Nayler, firmly. "You should look to your own life before you warn about mine."

" and what guarantees do i have that me or saar are released after you get the princess. It makes me wonder if tehre is any difference if i let make him let you in or not.."

"Nothing does, all you know is that I WILL kill you if you don't co-operate, whereas if you do you might just have a chance."
