OK, so some jack*** want a proof that Megaman is stronger than Ryu. OK, I'll provide a proof. But since you want Megaman X... fine.
1. In Megaman X promotional video, X destroys a giant battleship. Tell me if Ryu can do the same.
2. In Rockman X3 Playstation version, you can see that Megaman destroys a giant bee shaped airship. And in the opening scene, His X Buster passed through 2 giant airship at once and both of them are destroyed.
Look at the 0:28 - 0:31. And in 2:01 until 2:07, X destroyed Sigma with double charged shot. While hadouken never kill any human.
3. Normal Megaman lifted the entire fortress in Megaman 5 while X is designed to be stronger and by Megaman X8 timeline, he is much stronger than when he is in Megaman X1 timeline. IIRC there's a video about megaman lifted the fortress here. Look at it by yourself. While in SF3 ending, Ryu only lifted a... boulder.
4. According to Acrosurge, in Megaman ZX timeline, X gives his DNA to a human and the human survived a nuclear explosion. And don't tell me Ryu can survive planet busting attack. 😱

1. Megabuster, as Kirikaze just showed, has the destructive force to destroy airships. You; prove that Ryu can take and/or dish out that force.
2. Megaman can lift up a section of a fortress. You; prove that Ryu can lift more then a boulder.
3. Megaman was caught in a nuke(?) and survived. You; prove that Ryu can put the hurt on Megaman.
There you have it. Until you can prove and counter those three points Megaman is stronger, can take more and attack with more force the Ryu's capable of. Only have two options; counter these points effectively with evidence or concede. Here's your chance to redeem yourself.
