You're right, it was the best era for the BETTER comics. HA!I never understood why people always think I'm ready for the kill in certain discussions. 😕
except it was full of bad writing, comics that were camp as shit, poor characterisation etc etc etc.
not for all comics, but for a lot.

Its like in an effort to steer away from the campy light-hearted comics of the Silver Age they went too far in the opposite direction and introduced a whole new kind of camp, a "hey look how badass and edgy we are" deal, sort of like the crappy heavy metal of that time.
I don't blame Alan Moore so much as I blame less talented writers who (failed) at imitating the styles he and Frank Miller made popular with their iconic stories.

I hope this just marks the end of pointless babble and come to the point that we agree to disagree.
No, for the following:
1.) this is a debating forum - which pre supposes that members are going to have disagreeable views, and will illustrate these via discourse !
2.) You're bound to make some Ostentatious claim about this very subject - which I will not be able, to turn a blind eye to - A.) because I belive retardation, should not go unpunished B.) I am warranted to do so because of 1.
