http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Summoning_Charm
The Summoning Charm is a charm that causes an object at a distance from the caster to fly into his or her arms. The caster must know the general area of the object in order to summon it, and the farther away it is, the harder it is to summon. However there is some controversy on this claim as Hermione Granger clearly stated that it does not matter how far the object is, as long as you have it clearly in your mind, you should be able to summon it with ease. There can be spells placed to prevent certain objects from being summoned. The spell's incantation is Accio.

✅ 'Cause he allowed her too.
That was no murderous choke.
He has control.
And he did then because he logically would have just snapped her neck otherwise, it was just his sadistic angry streak coming out in reaction to her "betrayal". Remember the "NOOOOOOO"..?
A) It showed Vader in a REALLY bad mood where he WASN'T exercising that control.
B) It showed that he didnt want her dead. He was horrified when Palps lied to him, convincing him that he had done it.
Vader will not be allowing ANY speech. So. No. You need to think of something other than Accio.

especially since accio allows Vader to kill closely even more so than killing from a distance
1. So harry probably can't say "accio" while being choked.
2. If he DOES manage to say it, He is now holding Vader's lightsaber, which, to his surprise, turns around in his grasp (thank you force) and stabs him in the stomach.
Accio is the worst thing Harry can do here. He wants Vader's blade as far away from him as possible, since Vader can still manipulate it when Harry is holding it.

Exactly

Using your mad literalist rules, he cannot use a spell nonverbally that he has not been shown to cast nonverbally onscreen. Even in DH, he still had to incant "accio!" to retrieve the essence of dittany. The most talented incarnation of Harry that we've seen onscreen is unable to cast the spell nonverbally while under pressure.

Isn't that a win in the vs. forum? And its far from best case scenario. Best case scenario is Vader:a. stands behind a crypt.
b. precogs and dodges harry's attack
c. blocks harry's attack with his glove, or his lightsaber.in any and all cases, Harry only has his non-verbal spells, since he is getting force-choked, which renders him unable to speak.
I would call what you called "Best case scenario" The "worst case scenario" for vader, and he still wins.
I believe you completely ignored this. Convenient.

that did not address Z's post at all, actually. Blanket statements about characters "he always wins" are useless. He is the protagonist. Of course he always wins. His "always wins" doesn't help him against vader at all. We have all watched your sectumsempra vid, you can stop urging us to watch it now.

I'm not using "Harry always wins" as an argument. Just saying that he isn't the type to fold.
And yes, it did address his post. In the sectumsempra vid, he is shown casting spells that are shattering stone walls.

You say "he doesn't fold" after saying that Vader would be "freaking out" for 90 seconds and not retaliate?
What? I'm supposed to believe that Harry Potter is going to be that much more battle-hardened than vader?
Originally posted by truejediI said that Vader would freak out if he started blowing up like a balloon. Anyone would.

No, that's silly. Never claimed he was more battle hardened.

Right. Just as anyone would freak out when they start getting choked by an invisible hand (Just like everyone in the movies does; Look at it: In the movies, not one person being force-chocked even tries to fight back. We are talking about soldiers, admirals, and even one jedi master (ROTS) All of them start clutching at their throat. If you want to say that Vader will "freak out" when he starts blowing up, how do you think Harry Potter will fare any better than the above mentioned when force-choked?

Pretty sure ones body inflating inside a suit of durasteel armor is more to freak out about than being choked.
Another thing to consider, observe:
Look at how fast the Death Eaters are flying.
At :50, they shatter a stone wall.
At 1:05, look at how instant they take off.
At 1:14, they are flying loops around the bridge, and they go invisible.
Also, they are flying with such force that they collapse the frigging bridge. That's some Magneto shit.
