Uhhhuhhh baby. That just makes him the Riggs of wizardry.

Loooooong way away from a McClane of Wizardry:

Harry was killed: McClane would never allow that to happen to himself.
Harry is wizard and tech like cars presumably wouldn't work around hogwarts.

Think of the similarities....

High damage soak. Making shit up as he goes along. Uncommon luck. It spells "McClane."

His Damage soak is nowhere near McClanes. Only Riggs levels (Which is still pretty impressive).
McClane mostly has a plan, but when he makes shit up, he admits it.
You could learn from that lol.

He wasn't lucky enough to keep Voldemort from killing him.
And he was only able tobeat Voldemort once he had the Murtaugh style help of Snape. Ergo, its not McLuck.

More kinda Riggs luck.

OK, so Mac beat Nakatomi only because of Al. Mac beat Gabriel only because of Farrell.

Didja see that?

Stop that. Riggs makes his own luck.

Thats a massive inaccurate leap of logic at best, and a heinous attempt to insinuate that McClanes only Luck is AL.

IE: The reliance on partners regularly.
Which ironically is AGAIN another Riggs trait. ✅

Farrell, Marv, Zeus, The Wizard, yeah.....

One partner compared to many.

McClane has never been shown to have a partner.

Wasn't he specifically protected against one though?

It's like saying someone can tank a bullet, though they're wearing a vest. Fool.

Actually he had several. Constant support.

Those weren't partners, they were plot devices. Is Leo a partner? No.

Let's see. Al saved his life. Marv directed him through the tunnels. Zeus helped him with the puzzles. Farrell saved his life. Freddie patched him through to Bowman.

Yeah, that's constant support.

I'll agree it's hero-support. Not a constant partner like Murtaugh.

Diehard is a lone hero franchise; Lethal Weapon is a buddy-cop franchise, just the nature of the flicks.

So the difference is between support feats, Rog was there hanging out? As opposed to Mac going solo, getting support, going solo, getting support, etc?

No.

Murtaugh and Riggs are a team, this makes the film; it's a constant. Though they are other characters throughout the films that assist/help them to further the plot.

McClane is a lone cop/hero. Though they are other characters throughout the films that assist/help him to further the plot.

Edit: Simpliest way, look at the movie posters.

Mac had help, in every movie. Without said help, he loses every time. Deal with it.

No you dont know what 'constant' means.

As you (Ironically) constantly prove.

The word which describes a occurence that happens briefly and in isolation from repetition is "Occasional", not "Constant".
Hope this helps. 🙂

Hahahaahaaaa, try as you might to bury your head in the sand, the facts remain. McClane's still a lone cop and relies mainly on himself. Riggs is partner-based and Murtaugh is the yang to his yin. You need both.

Constant. All the time. Consistent.

No Al, no DH2.

No Marv, no news chopper, the Colonel escapes.

No Zeus, Mac never solves the puzzles.

No Farrell, Mac and Lucy die.

Tee.......hee 😱

Who helped McClane take down the copter in DH4?

(this is just one example of many)
