The first ten minutes of Wolverine were spectacular. Liev Schreiber was terrific, Jackman was reliably engaging, a few side character elements showed promise. The rest I found shockingly bad.

He certainly has, although I think Ian's gestures come more naturally. It was my only nitpick about Mags in First Class. I certainly liked his transformation at the end.

The virtual thumb corroborates the sentiment that you, as a white man, take for granted your women. That is all. I don't quite share Blax's tendentious lust for them (see: the Lizzy Caplan saga) but I get why he feels the way he does.

You finally declared a major? In my college career I've declared my major to be: Philosophy, History, Cognitive Science, and now I've finally settled on Visual Communication Design with a minor in Russian history.

I just realized because I have taken full summer quarters every year and the odd 20 credit quarter, I'm going to graduate with 240 quarter credits.


... How many credits do you need to graduate? We need 128 at 4 credits per class, plus PE. My major, one of the largest, is 60.

Anthropology and Human Biology. Very interesting and almost as convenient: about one third of the classes I've already taken count as requirements. It's this, or continue econ or psychology or computer science or international relations/political science, all of which are respectable and arguably of more immediate use but none of which I see myself dedicating the majority of my classtime to.

Eh. I liked Creed, Wraith and pre-seriouslywhatthefvck Wade Wilson. I didn't find that Gambit stood out.

180. I have a lot of extra credits in subjects that don't actually need, but took because I thought I was going to enter the field.

I also thought it was idiotic because it was so limited but the guy who played him rocked as Gambit. Just wished they included him in you know, ALL THE DAMN X-MEN movies. What did he do, go back to New Orleans and play poker for the rest of his life?

Also, I'm a huge Gambit fan, so having him in there at all was a bonus, and while I think he warrants his own movie (hell, he had his own limited comic series), his cameo was far better than say Multiple Man who got screwed.
