I'd argue that it's pretty much always a choice, with the possible exception of Malak's torture of Bastila. Anakin's descent is always viewed as the product of trickery and deception on the Emperor's part, but that's not a genuine account. Palpatine rigged the game, but Anakin chose to play.So no, I have no problem with Revan choosing to follow the dark side in the sense that he wasn't really deceived into doing it {unless that was the extent of the Sith Emperor's involvement}. My problem stems from the idea that a.) he wasn't in over his head and b.) that he had to join the dark side to save the galaxy.
I buy neither of those.
Darth Maul could also be an exception since he was taken in at an early age by Darth Sidious. By the time he was old enough to make his own decisions he was already too consumed by the dark side.
Also, I have a question for you. How would you prefer Palpatine's fall to the dark side be? Do you think it would be a more fitting story for Palpatine to have a history out side of the dark side. Or do you think he should be raised by Darth Plagueis to be a sith?

True, but I was referencing adult converts, not lifelong disciples.

I have no idea. I see merits in either take, though I'm sure Luceno will handle it well.
Stover and Luceno, in that order, have written far and away the best SW I've read. With credit to Karpyshyn, I found a good deal to like about Path of Destruction and pieces of the sequels and the Mass Effect series remains perhaps the most engaging singleplayer videogaming experience I've ever had; it's difficult for me to reconcile this with that excerpt from Revan.

DS, you're a Sith "Pureblood," right? Because they look awesome.
Yea I am. I was thinking about making my character as fat and queer looking as possible but I think I'll do that if I decide to play this game again. Right now I just got Revan's mask and am heading back to the Revanites. Continuity aside, I really like the visualization of Korriban and Dromund Kaas.
There's one thing I don't get. They obviously spent a lot of time on the Order of Revan and it's a pretty vital part of the Dromund Kaas campaigns, but then they bring back Revan and make him a mid level boss. Why create an order dedicated to worshiping him and at the same time, make him little more than an afterthought.

And hows the armor system like anyways?
