gay_rage Good job, RJ. Good job.
*Fires 21 gun salute.*
*....into the buckets containing the wizard slush, purely for emphatic. SW victory lolz*
Yoda and Palps both were at the heights of their powers, at different times when the Force's bias swung their way. You do realise that, right?
Anyway the Jedi only have to have awareness of everything on Earth here, not across all of the universe (Which those in deep connection experience seem to be able to do when meditating, on Yoda and Palp's remote-seeing evidence)
And right now they can see the cleanup operation at whats left of Hogwarts, floating around on a chunk of asteroid in the Earth graveyard belt. Lots of buckets of wizard goo, being cleared out of the rubble, charred limbs being gathered up etc...

Dr. Manhattan is omniscient, or as close to as one can get.
Jedi= Not omniscient.
Cleanup around Hogwarts?
Explain, then, the onscreen ability to:
* Sense the deaths of planets from millions of miles away, even whilst travelling through hyperspace
* the ability to know the details of someone else's entire life from across the galaxy, like Yoda did with Luke in ESB
* The ability to see things all across the universe past present and future, people too.
* Ability to assess the state of an entire galaxies force bias from a meditation chamber like Yoda does in TPM, ATOC, ROTS.
Dr.Manhattan has similar abilities to those listed above.
Heh. True. More of a flattening than a cleaning exactly, I guess. Palps wants a starbucks built there.
OK let's break it down a little sumthin':

om·ni·pres·ent

present everywhere at the same time: the omnipresent god.

Now......If the Jedi were Omniscient, then they would have never been killed. If the Jedi were Omniscient, then they would see all, know all, and be able to be everywhere and anywhere at once.
So, the Jedi........Not Omniscient.
Incorrect. The Jedi were killed:
A) Cause the Darkside bias was in force, so Jedi were weaker than normal.
B) Yoda and Sidious were still sighted at the overlap.
You're again trying to misrepresent SW ability based on speculations/misapprehensions and what you percieve to be low end feats...you denied ever doing that, just the other week.
God is a man made concept and is physically nowhere. So that kinda messes up that definition. Unless you mean movie screenfeats God.
(If Im wrong, may he strike us both down.)
Still here?
Good. Now lets move on...

Yes, the Jedi are not Omniscient, Omnipresent or Omnipotent, I'm glad you grasped that concept. Sadako is talking out of his heini. While their preception is extremely broad, it has a limit, just as their own minds do.
The Living Force is however.
They can but they are still limited by ther own fleshy perspectives. 'Size matters not', the only limits are their own limitations, abilities and imagination. Plus they can access the Force but only in very limited ways. Luke struggled to move the X-wing because of this, not because the Force was unable to.

Mhm.....Mhm......Mhm.......And what does the living force do for a Jedi while they are alive?
