Harry Potter Magic versus the Force (Army thread).....

Started by Rogue Jedi73 pages

What I'm asking is this: If a Jedi mastered the living force, bonded with it, became at one with it, whatever, while alive and well, as a mortal, then what?

All of those things you see when you watch the SW movies.

"one at a time, and then in pairs, then in tens, and then in hundreds, and he cut them all down."

Ganner Rhysode, the most badass Jedi ever. Look him up.

Hmm, including dying?

Yes, I know all about Ganner Rhysode. Movies? Yeah thought not.

Well then its a pretty ****ing stupid question because it never happens on-screen idiot.

That's my point, it never happened onscreen, therefore it has no bearing here.

Then why did you ask the question?

Because force abilities were being exaggerated ridiculously. You, after all, mentioned "The living force", did you not?

Thats is a part of the force also, according to Yoda.

Anyone who has seen that, and genuinely isn't pretending to love star wars for nefarious/non-nefarious reasons would know that.

Order 66. Nuff said. If the Jedi were all that you make them out to be, they would have all survived. End fact.

Pretending to love SW? haermm Wow, now what would I have to gain by that? Never mind that I have 6 lightsabers in my home. Never mind that I have an extensive collection of memorabilia. Never mind that I write SW fanfic. Never mind that I can watch all 6 movies with the sound off and still know what they're saying. Never mind that I have read about 70% of the EU. Never mind that I have gone by "Rogue Jedi" here for over 7 years. Never mind that my last name on facebook is "Gon Jinn."

Word to the wise: Don't assume you know me. You'll make an ass out of you and umption.

Yup thusly it was the will of the living force, as it swung dark, that the agents of light get plugged. No big mystery.

Oh really? Then how is it that you manage to be so consistently wrong about it? lolz 'Cause you seem to have literally no experience of SW when you debate, judging by the weird things/blatant falsehoods. Im not "having a go"; Im just saying that that is what prompted the comment.

I know your depth of SW appreciation by your posts here. Thats all I have to know here.
And you spend a lot of time debating from an Anti-SW position, often presenting the arguments of a man who has never even seen it..

Based on this, you really should change your name to 'Rogue Muggle' or 'Bad Wizard' or some shit.

This isn't an attack: Just trying to make it clear why I said that is all.

Bullshit. You, like the other SW supporters here, can't stand it that the Jedi are outclassed in almost every way here. The fact that I have backed it up with screen feats pisses you off all the more. And now all you have is "You know shit about SW." Lame. A last ditch effort to save face on your part.

"I know your depth of SW appreciation by your posts here."....There you go, making assumptions. SW always has been and always will be #1 in ny heart. Like I said, Don't assume you know me. You'll make an ass out of you and umption.

Wait, you just did. Now, you ready for another round of having your ass raped? Here we go:

1. The Wizards have instant regen. How, you ask? Phoenix tears. Fawkes the Phoenix. With a half hour prep, the wizards have more than enough time to harvest enough of Fawkes' tears and each have a vial on them. Fawkes produces tears at will. When Harry was bitten by the Basilisk, Fawkes instantly shedded tears on the wound. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

2. Hocruxes: With a half hour prep, Voldemort can employ his seven Hocruxes. He can even ensure that the other Wizards do the same. 20 Wizards, 7 Hocruxes each. That makes 84 Wizards. And yes, I can use this here. In the OP, "morals are off." Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

3. Vanishing spells: The Wizards can vanish things. One second it's there, the next, gone. Name a Force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

4. Transfiguration: The wizards can change the Jedi into cockroaches in the blink of an eye. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

5. Apparition: The Wizards can teleport anywhere they want, anytime they want, instantly. They can even fly. Name a force power that does this. On yeah, there isn't one.

6. Confundus: The wizards can be thousands of feet away, wandless, not even having eye contact with the Jedi, and whisper this word. The Jedi will turn into a buncha babbling babboons. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

7. Immobulus: The wizards can freeze all 20 Jedi at once. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

8. Arresto Momentum: Same as above, except this only slows the Jedi way down, almost to a standstill. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

9. Time turner: Wizards can time travel. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

10. Boggarts: Boggarts will, at the very least provide a split second distraction that will leave the Jedi wide open for attack. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

11. Hall of Prophecies: Yeah, this trumps Jedi foresight in every possible way.

12. Legilimency: See, Legilimens does not rely on the victim being weak minded. It works every time, unless the victim knows Occlumency. Legilimency>>>>>>Jedi mind trick.

13. Crucio: Does basically the same thing as force lightning.

14. Expelliarmus: Besides disarming the victim, it does he same thing as force push.

15. Summoning spells: Does the same as force pull.

16. Imperio: "Causes the victim of the curse to obey the spoken/unspoken commands of the caster." Pretty simple, this makes the Jedi puppets, and the wizards the puppet masters. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

17. Anapneo: Counters force choke. "Clears the target's airway, if blocked." If a wizard is being force choked, another simply casts Anapneo. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

18. Protego: Shields wizards against physical attacks. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

19. Sectumsempra: Violently wounds the target; described as being as though the subject had been "slashed by a sword". The wizards can cast this from hundreds of feet away. Sectumsepra>>>>>>>>>>Lightsaber.

20. Avada Kedavra: One hit kill, can be cast from hundreds of feet away. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

21. Fiendfyre: Yeah, pretty simple. Big ass wall of fire that the Jedi cannot control nor extinuguish. It will seek them out and roast them. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

22. Impedimenta: Description: This powerful spell is capable of tripping, freezing, binding, knocking back and generally impeding the target's progress towards the caster.

23. Incarcerous: Binds the victim in rope. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

24. Levicorpus: The victim is dangled upside-down by one of his/her ankles.

25. Oppugno: Causes conjured objects to attack. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

26. Petrificus Totalus: Full body bind curse.

27. Reducto: Enables the caster to explode solid objects. Name a force power that does this. Oh yeah, there isn't one.

28. Stupefy: Puts the victim in an unconscious state.

29. Wingardium Leviosa: Levitates objects.

30. Hocruxes: Already explained this.

So you see, the wizards can do everything the Jedi can do, and more. And better, more powerful. Hell, I didn't even name all the wizards powers.

You keep going on about force choke, force lightning and precog:

Force choke: Countered by Anapneo. Also, the Jedi can only choke one person at a time, and it takes a bit of time. The wizard can either cast a nonverbal spell, or simply apparate away.

Force lightning: The Jedi can use force lightning one wizard at a time, and it takes a bit of time. If they are force choking a wizard, another wizard simply death spells their ass.

Precog: So the Jedi will know, via foresight, of the upcoming battle. So? The wizards, via the Hall of prophesies, of the battle years before. Now, Battle precog. So the Jedi will know about an attack/s moment before it happens, and? They are gonna have Fiendfyre surrounding them, death spells coming at them from all angles, not to mention beinf Confundused.

Force push/pull: Apparition.

So........Got anything else? Come on now, dig deep in your bag of bullshit, I'm sure you have something there. More bullshit. Based on this, you should change your name to Cher, because you are the epitome of Cluelessness.

You VVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

So, once again.......What else ya got?

Just movies, or EU? Cuz EU shits all over the above.

I was quick to admit that ages ago, but I'm not so sure anymore. I mean if SW is allowed to simply cruise into the galaxy and blast Earth from high orbit, that's not really an even playing field. Bit chicken shit.

But then one could bring wizard time travel into the picture, and apparition. But can wizards apparate into space? Doubtful.

It's a landslide either way.

So 30 minutes prep, and where is this prep at exactly?

Correctness. Something you lack.

Big post, whole lotta fail.

And you wouldn't know a clue if it came up to you with a suicide belt of explosives screaming "Viva Clue", detonating and spraying pure clue all over your face.

Ahahahahahaha nah, it's all indisputable WIN. Tell ya what, start with this:

Force push/pull: Apparition.

Counter it or STFU.

Read the OP, they are in Manhattan Prison from "Escape from New York."

This whole thread counters it. Now you may proceed directly to closing that Jawa's toilet you call a mouth, stopping masturbating whilst fantasising about being a Wizard's Jockstap and quitting yo' cryin'.. 🙂

Nah. I edited:

See? For every Jedi attack, the wizard have a counter and then some.
