Well I take my hat of to the USA, what fighting never say die spirit in every game. Fully deserved toppers of the group.

It must be hard for the Slovenias, when their game was over it was still a draw in the USA game and they were through, then bam your out.

It´s looking like an England V Germany clash then🙂

USA finish top with 5 points and England are 2nd with 5 points. USA are top because they scored 2 more goals than England

Anyway the England game was excellent, and they played miles better and at there best. Finally look like a good side.

Germany, quite obvious the way they are playing but you never know.

Germany had a lot of cards in the first game, if they have another daft referee a lot of players could miss the game against England.

The Slovenians losing while the US winning means Slovenia goes home. Considering the US win happened at minute 90+, Slovenia left their match thinking they were through despite eating one to England, but as Bic said, "bam you're out."

England & Slovenia were through when their game finished, but the USA scored a goal in injury time to top the group. What drama🙂

Really great defending from England wasn't it? Could have easily been 1-2 Slovenia...

Cracking defending though. A pretty good goal as well, excellent ball into DeFoe like that.

Second half left a lot to be desired though, and Joe Cole didn't really impress me. Rooney is a joke, I couldn't believe how little he did.

Hopefully they can go up a few more steps, they´ll need to to beat Germany or if they get past them, Argentina in the 1/4🙂

If ENG doesnt make it then I have no other choice but to cheer for the US even though this is not their sport.
