and thor can absorb bob's energies (that imo are just a shell representation of his psyche). we saw him power down against hulk and harrow drained him with ease so.... thor in a kmc fight could dummy him more times than not.

Thor has never absorbed or shown the ability to absorb someone as powerful as the Sentry so it's a horrible abc logic example.
Both writers who handeld both Thor/Sentry/Void matchups had him on another rung than Thor. This all saw print and it's consistent with what was portrayed on panel.

Yeah, I got that. Super powerful villain beats up everyone then gets owned at the end via stupid scenario. This extends to more than just Bendis.
I was thinking more on the 'Thor' aspect in all of this. Bendis Thor to be exact.

Well, I'm in with quanchi on this one.. To restate my reasons:
1. Sentry overpowered Molecule Man.
2. Tanked an attack from Terrax the same way Thanos tanks herald level attacks. (And yes, Surfer did defeat Terrax pretty easily too.. But the thing is, Surfer would feel Terrax's attacks. He would not simply wade through his attacks as if they don't matter.)
3. In his original mini, his Void persona was snapping Hulks ribs one at a time. And both Thor and Dr. Strange were fairly certain they were dead meat....
4. He held off another group of heroes, with Dr. Strange being among them and his magic being ineffective.
5. Than there's what he did to Ares in Siege, simply ripping him in half.. That's a feat of strength well beyond your normal Thor.
I realize Thor killed Sentry.. But Sentry did ask to be killed. And it was foreshadowed in Dark Avengers that the only way Sentry could die, is if he allows it to happen..

- Norman's ineffective hit squad the Thunderbolts.
- The Dark Avengers booksThere's plenty more stuff I'm sure you all liked about this era in Marvel. Siege 4 sucked because Bendis failed to deliver. Marvel had a hand in it for allowing this garbage to be published. However, I'm more pissed at Bendis himself since he can produce quality stories. This wasn't one of them. No reason to give up Marvel because of this.

1. Thor already beat that ass in his human form.
2. Pff. Thor's shrugged off the attacks of the Silver Surfer as if there were nothing.
3. Thor's crunched the bones of the Hulk with a blow. All the heroes being scared is something I call bullshit on. I very rarely ever do so but it's something I cannot agree with. However, we saw Thor stopping it's tentacles by raising his hand as I recall.
4. Which instance are you referring to? Pff. Loki > Strange in direct interactions (I need someone to confirm this. It's been ages since I read their original fight but I recall Loki winning but he ran away when Thor appeared.).
5. Thor's stomped an Ares who was 3 times as strong. Ripping Ares in half isn't something he couldn't do if he wanted to.

you know the only 2 feats Sentry/void had this whole time was MM and ripping Ares in half. Thor showed that even after bigging weaken to fight Sentry to a stand still when looking in both comics. Thor was very Peed off toward the end. He has show being able to down skyfather sin the past and given his Mystic powers i don't see why people get so bent of shape of him being able to take out void.
