Nobody is going to find conclusive proof that the beserkers had meditation practices but as far as im concerned it does make it possible they did. so little bear was asleep in a "trance" someone was trying to wake him up to help his brother but he was already on the battlefield helping and fighting in a bear form his spirit had become an animal..

also spirits, angels in christian myth also take the shape of animals or possession of animals like doves, talking mules and even communicate in dreams to ppl... god even showed himself as three ppl under a tree some argue they were angels and not god speaking for god.. either way they were presented or alluded to be god..
also gods like Zeus also took animal forms and loved ones to seduce women... native americans believe in astral projection and seeing through the eyes of animals like a bear, wolf, crow... its intoxicating i sometimes like to think i am a wolf while i run the hills while working out it can even feel somewhat real with my breathing and heart pumping feeling the blood coursing through the vein is astral projection, meditation or a trance?

My point that there's not just no proof at all that vikings could stop a sword with their chest isn't immature, it's a fact. One that you can't dispute in any way, shape or form. In fact you admit that it is true.

little known fact that viking may have made it to the americans settled and interbreeded with a tribe of native americans which would explain certain facial racial features.. from bone features hair and eye color and skin tone..
apparently vikings may have reached india and taken some customs and possibly also interbreeded but i have yet to hear or find any evidence or historical mention of such a thing happening..

they also grappled and wrestled one another for sport and to train.. they settled disputes in fights with the possibility of death also some tribe leaders were also used to settle disputes but that came later as they socially evolved...
