it was never stated the 616 gems created the omniverse. That statement was talking about the Multi-IB, the creator of ALL Infinity Gems across the multiverse. So if you say that the 616 gems are multiversal, you claim the IG's that the Council of Reed Richards had were multiversal as well, since BOTH were created by the IB. Which is obviously not the case. Therefore it is not multiversal.

Uhh, Thanos was talking about the one and only Infinity Being.

It created the Omniverse and placed its power within the 6 Infinity Gems,
and it's consciousness within the 7th Gem (Ego)

This entity was infinity and forever, all powerful, all being.

What it did was probably effortless. The death thing is a self serving tactic by the IB.
(that is, being part of a separate reality where it too holds superiority,
but evidently through some entertaining effort)

The problem I see is that it is stated that all universes come from 616 eternity but somehow they also all come from the infinity being that created IG.Does not compute.

The IB is like the grand parent. And Eternity is like the parent. The multi etenrity is like the children. My parents do not have the power of me and all my siblings. We are greater than they even tho we come from them.

Mr Master (IIRC it was you) also said that Sise-Neg and the Alien Entity both created the Omniverse. So that's four beings right there that you claimed to have created the omniverse (I thought the obvious answer would be TOAA though). But anyways, Thanos has never destroyed and absorbed thousands of universes, AM has. So there' no question.

The 616 universe is APPARENTLY the dominant universe in Marvel (as 99% of their stories occur there).

The 616 universe is APPARENTLY the most dynamic/powerful/important universe in Marvel

Ergo, the IG of the 616 universe is the most powerful of all.

Relegating the 616 IG to a 'common' status amongst the others is quite frankly idiotic.

And therefore should not be considered only universal.

ICONiac: Acting like the 616 IG is vastly more powerful because it's from the bonafide original universe is acting like 616 Galactus is vastly more powerful than any alternate Galactus because he was the first one. But we don't imbue 616 Galactus with extra-universal power. We merely look at the feats he's accomplished. And he still gets knocked around by godblasts.

The only reason to treat the 616 IG any differently is because of Infinity Nut-huggingg. Stop hguggin dem Infinity Nuts.
