Meanwhile in WATIF # 1 LT used reverse psychology on Warlock to get him to give up the IG...and didn't have the stones to try and take it off of Thanos.

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at here... that the LT felt threatened by the 616 IG and therefore that apprehension justifies its aggrandization? Lame argument. Try lookng at the greatest feat the 616 IG accomplished as a true estimation of its power, i.e., taking over teh 616 universe.
