The assassination scene could've been handled better and Eugene is still useless as ****. Same with that preacher moron who only exists for cheer me up speeches, appeals to morality, and is just boring. It was an ok episode.

Because Negan saw right through Spencer as a useless groveling bootlicker without any sense of honor, he would have known Spencer didn't make the bullet, such are the ways of the Negan. He didn't believe Rosita made it; he knew there was a MacGyver nerd among them.

Not from the comics.

My guess is that this person has something to do with the boat Rick/Aaron pillaged(also not from the comics), hence the note: "Congrats for winning, but you still lose!!!!" Granted we saw a body in that boat, but that doesn't mean there was really just one person. /shrug

I've also seen some theories online ranging from it being Dwight, to it being a member of The Whisperers(an antagonist group we'll see after the Negan plot has wrapped-up), scouting the community -- I find the latter a bit less likely.

It's worth noting that in the episode of 'Talking Dead' following the mid-season finale, Robert Kirkman stated, in a nutshell, that the second half of the season would concern itself with this potential threat, and not a lot after that. So...

My only question about the episode was what exactly did Michonne see from the top of the hill when she was in the SUV with Suicidal Red head chick? They didn't make it very clear when they showed it.

And of course the best part of the ep was seeing Negan nearly shit himself when Angry Latina Chick shot at him.

I thought it was Negan's army or somesuch? Hence red saying "we are all Negan", and Michonne asking if he(Negan) was in that group. /shrug

In the shot mentioned, I couldn't tell if it was a large group of people just standing around or if they were looking at a town. And Negan's little Browning of the Pants really puts taht "We are all Negan" bit of fear worship into a diff prespective. And I found it funny cause if Neggy was doing his little bat spinning trick and the Chick shot it when it was right in front of his face then realistically the bat would have smacked him right in the face.

And that I would have found REALLY Funny. Lucille biting her master like that.

I find it odd that the biggest annoyance with the episode for me was the Kingdom guy angrily knocking the sign to the ground that hid his... what? Stash? Old family RV that he used as refuge? Just walk around it, geez.

I think it's realistic to think you skipped physics class, at least.

I honestly thought Rick was going to lock Michonne in the jail cell because of her indiscretions that episode, lol. Glad he finally grew some balls... Hopefully things will pick up a bit now.

beat Aaron are some of the first to go, when Rick and the others start fighting back. They are both monumentally unlikable. Though I am glad Spencer is finally dead. He really was a spineless, little weasel. I also had to lol that the two fat people get taken out in the same episode.

Calling it now:

The guy who was giving the rapey vibes to Enid a few episodes ago(same guy who instigated the Aaron beatdown) will be who gets the "we don't rape"/"we're not monsters" treatment from Negan. 👆

I almost forgot it was that same tool who was bugging Enid. Hoping that's plays out then. He is one guy who deserves a bloody and painful end.
