he could have still killed her and bargained for the prison for Herschel. He wasn't being petty there. You don't comprehend a simple scene.Brian didn't lose any of his own people. The same people who didn't really want to fight looked scared shitless while the rest followed his lead. He always seals his own doom due to his ego. Rick had nothing to do with it. He beat the shit out of Rick. He killed Ricks friend right in front of him. Rick lost the prison, his baby, everyone was scattered, etc. Rick made a stupid choice. He lost the prison anyways.
I never said Rick could have been the villain in the scene. You honestly don't even comprehend my points either.
Who said "petty". No one. You're dancing and strawmanning again. Brian killed Hershel instead of Michonne after Rick outplayed him cos killing Hershel guaranteed a war, while killing Michonne might or might not have had the same outcome. Guess you missed that too.
Again. Which episode did you watch? Brian lost absolutely everything; his life (by all appearances). Rick called out what would happen ("we all lose the prison"😉 and gave Brian a viable alternative to war. Brian didn't take it and he lost. End of story. Your man-crushes don't change reality.
Now the well known Quanchi-backpedaling and lies begins. "Both men could be the hero and the villain." -Quanchi
Again I ask, how in any conceivable way could have Rick been the villain in that scene when he was the one working towards peace and safety for both groups? Mind answering that instead of dancing and strawmanning.
Originally posted by Stealth MooseThat's what Michonne goes out "hunting" for: abandoned katanas that she can use her Fallout powers to repair.
Those two fences were symbolic of the space between them, alas.Query: how has that katana not needed tremendous upkeep and has not broken during use for ten months? Was it made by dwarves or something?

Not due to Rick but Rick was the one who wanted the prison. Governor would have let them all walk but Rick denied him and lost his child. Rick had a better supporting cast. That is the reason his side won. Governor beat the shit out of Rick too after he offed Herschel.
Not in that scene but if they made different choices. Thats what I meant, kiddo. Pay attention to what I mean by my words not what your feminine brain perceives them to be.

A guess.
Yes, due to Rick, since Rick outplayed him with his speech and forced the Brian hand, which ended VERY poorly for the Brian. You and your man crushes, who the **** cares if Brian beat Rick in a 1v1 fight.
LoL, following a dodge up with a lie. You obviously were referring to that scene as you were talking about the "back and forth" between both men. You be you though 🙂
And obviously Rick could have been a villain if we go with whatever fan-fiction you're imaging, Rick could also be a unicorn going with something made up instead of what actually happened in the show. Think.
Originally posted by RobtardJust as you guessed killing Michonne might not ensure a war.

Brian beat the shit out of Rick. Rick lost a child. He cried like a child with his son. Thats why you're defending him here.
No, I said in general had they made other choices. Not this scene in general. You're just not good at interpreting well pretty much anything.

No shit? Said as much.
You and your man crushes.
Stop lying, you clearly were referring to that scene as you directly mentioned it; makes me laugh you're lying and spinning now out of embarrassment. An adult would say, "yeah, I erred" and move on. You be you though.
As noted above, we don't go with your fan-fiction, we go with what is shown. silly clown man 🙂

No, I was not. That scene clearly made Rick out to be the foolish hero who in the end lost everything.
Sobbing like a woman along with his child. Way to be a man, Rick.
He disappointed me in that scene. Awful. You can continue to fanboi him all you want.

Your inability to follow a conversation is hilarious. Hershel dead = certain war(as seen). Michonne dead = maybe/maybe not, it's a guess.
Or Rick a villain, according to your man crush driven fan-fiction and how desperately you need to elevate Brian to whatever pedestal you've built 🙂
Do you think I actually care that you hate Rick cos he beat your man crush Brian twice in as many seasons? Just characters in a show, silly clown.
Your tears > all tears 🙂

Erm no, it showed clearly that Rick had integrity while the Governor had nothing but lies and his urge to control the situation. Rick turned his ploy inside out, and in the end, stalled enough time for both his people to get into position and for the Walkers to help create chaos for the army outside of the fences.
Rick may have lost Herschel, lost the H2H, and lost his daughter and home, but morally, he had the high ground. It took serious balls to go down to that fence with his left-belted revolver against a tank and the Governor's army.

So crying makes a guy weak? Are you raised in some macho mancave out in the boonies? (This might explain a bit actually)
Badasses who cry in works of fiction and IRL include:

Beowulf

Aragorn

Maximus (Gladiator)

Éomer

Riddick

Bond (Skyfall)

Théoden

John McClane

Spock

Nathan Algran

Everyone in Saving Private Ryan

John Preston

Magneto/Xavier

Ulysses S. Grant
When you can demonstrate how all those people failed your high expectations and then tell me more about this awesome Governor which we didn't see on TV, we'll be right here waiting.

* you just did NOT say this... the man lost his child, dude... you're a cold-hearted person if you did not cry in that kind of situation... ok, Season 3 Episode 8, what happened when Michonne killed Governor's child? dude, even the Governor got more heart than you...
* stop the man-crush on Governor, dude... he is/was the villain, end of the story...

Also, Thanos does not cry. His eyes merely sweat at inopportune times.
