I have assurances from the Chancellor that they represent rather accurately the source material.

When I saw that scene in the mid season premier I laughed out loud.

I'd forgotten how cheesy that cover was after all this time.

The episode was far more forgiving to us.

I'm interested in seeing what will happen if that group that was in the house Rick was staying in ends up running into Rick somehow (which we all know they will).

That one guy saw Rick under the bed while he was getting put to sleep, and seeing as how one of their guys mysteriously died in the bathroom, he'll probably be able to figure out that Rick had something to do with it.

Michonne is more likable now and we're finding out more about her past, and sudden character development usually means death on this show. She already did what her character was there to do in the first place, so after we find out what happened with her baby and those two guys, it shouldn't be long for her, sadly.

Kind of a long shot here, but it's possible that those guys ate the baby. They obviously did something really, really bad.

^ If they kill Michonne in the show it'll be

Spoiler:
a HUGE(and utterly idiotic) change from the comics, given that she's still alive in them to this very day.

So is Sophia and Andrea.

Not every jackass has to be intrinsically central to a main characters backstory. In fact none of them are. I have no idea why you think any of that made sense.

At least there's still Carol in the TV series though (who committed suicide in the prison arc of the comics), and Tyreese (another one whose death the Governor was responsible for in the comics).

Meh, where Andrea is concerned her portrayal in the show was vastly different than her portrayal in the comics--so it wasn't overly surprising when they killed her off. I do wish Sophia would have been kept alive, though. It would have been interesting to see Prison-era Carol train/harden her, and also to see what would come of Sophia when Rick ousted Carol from the Prison.

Anyway, Michonne has been portrayed identically across both mediums, so I can't imagine her going anywhere for a LONG time. There are plenty of others they'd kill-off before her, imo. /shrug

TVAndrea kinda had it coming. She was too dumb to live and too dependent on others.

TVSophia was replaced largely because her actress grew too fast.

And having another parent/child relationship on the show would have been over-saturation. Rick and Carl are enough. The ersatz parentage between Carol and Lizzie Borden makes for a more interesting dynamic.

Especially because that girl is wicked creepy.

That season 2 picture of Glenn makes him look kinda mature. Then he fattens up and gets droopy.

I've never read the comics, but I do know that the show is very different. It wouldn't surprise me at all if she gets killed.

I just can't get past current Daryl's fabulous hairdo... Very Zoolander-esque. 👆

In some aspects it is different. In others it is very much the same. I cannot imagine Michonne getting killed any time soon.

They're giving her more human qualities right now. So guaranteed they'll eventually take them away. Then she'll regain them again and solidify them by sacrificing herself.

That's the standard formula anyway.

Daryl episode was overall dissapointing. Whomever wrote it, should be slapped.

I guess the idea was to develop Daryl and Beth and/or provide shipping material.
