besides having to work, and taking my dear sweet time, I also spend a lot of time just messing around in the game world. This game is quite pro.

ditto... I'm wanting to 100% it, but I'm about to say to hell with it, and beat the game first. I can just get all the extra stuff later. Have u found the strongest shield yet?
Also
Spoiler:
The hylian shield is now canonically indestructable.
Beat it last night, and started hero mode this morning. I'm in the second temple. xD
Spoiler:
A truth stone I found hinted towards it, I didn't know it was the Hylian until I unlocked it. I don't like looking things up for games until I beat them. Especially Zelda games." You got the Hylian Shield! This legendary shield is imbued with heroic power, making it completely indestructible!"
yay! xD

The cursor is insane- it is using the gyros etc instead of the IR and hence decalibrates every two seconds. There is no solution; the Wii's motion controls are simply inadequate for continual precision. At least they made recalibrating easy.
But the irony here is that the pointer in Twilight Princess, which used the IR and hence actually functioned as a pointer, is much better than the one in Skyward Sword.

The cursor only goes wonky on me when I'm not aiming at the middle of the screen before I pull out my slingshot/whatever, because the game seems to assume you won't be holding your wiimote sideways.
If you start out aiming at the screen, it's not a problem, and works better for me than the cursor from TP.
I personally can't say I find the whole re-centering the reticle thing to be so deal-breakingly inconvenient. In fact, I think people are overreacting to be complaining about it at all when the cons I have are mended somewhat BY the re-centering ability, mostly since I also never found myself having to really do so in any dire situations. I don't know if maybe my set-up sucks less or what, my only real genuine complaint for the swordplay would be the angle when targeting seems to influence sword-swings just enough to warrant that bit of unnecessary effort. Only really gets annoying with those Technoblins (the ones with the electric weapons), but even then, I'd say I've since perfected the shield parry, and following up with a vertical Spin Attack (which I always thought was the coolest ****ing move in the game since seeing it half a year ago) and then a Fatal Strike makes even those guys less of a hassle. As for weapons in particular, I'd say aiming with the Bow is the most hassle-free compared to something like the Slingshot.
Onto the game itself, Koloktos has pretty much sealed the deal as my pick for best Zelda boss I can remember since ****ing ever. The whole aesthetic of the dungeon in which he's to be reached was nothing short of awe-inspiring as well, and not just because it's where the dungeons themselves start to pick up a little (though the one prior wasn't bad). Still can't say any of them really measure up to City in The Sky for me though.
As for my only real story-based cons, they go as follows:
Fi = ****ing wasted potential.
Girahim = ****ing Underdeveloped n' Overrated via hype.
SS Link = ****ing dork 70% of the game compared to the previous Link.
I hate Fi.
"Hello, you have found one little furry creature, I have marked it down. There is currently 3 more furry creatures to find. If you need to find them, use the dowse feature by hitting C button. Use the - button to use the map."
It might of gotten better later in the game but with the super slow text speed, it was so annoying.
