I agree with Ush. The only thing I miss about the Gamecube originals was locked strafing because the motion controls make Shriek Bats and frantic battles where you have to quickly circle one or more enemies while rapidly firing and dodging much more difficult.
Good luck getting it though, from what I've heard the production run was limited and demand is high so most places are selling it for nearly $250.
Anyway, about controls. This applies to both MPT and Skyward Sword. I've never had to recalibrate anything mid game. I've noticed people who have issue with the controls make sweeping exaggerated motions. Try playing Skyward Sword with your wrists on you knees. Try to keep 97% of all movement in your wrists, not your arms.
