The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Pretty decent game, though not sure I'm liking the whole "lol Demise should replace Ganon for SSB4" arguments I'm already seeing on some other forums.

^ Demise does resemble Akuma somewhat, who belongs is from a fighting game. 😛

And yeah, I know I still have to reply to your PM's. Next week, I pwomise.

That's true. I really like Demise too, but he's no Ganon IMO, the latter of whom is more iconic.

And alright, as long as it's before Christmas.

Gonna agree about that stamina thing... I wanted to sprint forever! However they integrated it into puzzles and made it interesting.

Zelda is so likable as a character <3

I'm quite inclined to agree.

I loved the game. By far the best storyline of the series IMO.

Eh... I'd say SS Zelda is better than Tetra.

Why not both? Replace Toon Link with Ghirahim/Demise also make Ganondorf not a ****ing Captain Falcon clone....

I think the verdict is just that it'd feel a tad crowded to have them both since they're pretty similar, and that Ganon is like Darth Vader while Demise is like the Emperor, if you were to compare their roles (
Spoiler:
since without Demise, you'd have no Ganon/Ganondorf
). I agree with what you're saying though, and if they have Skyward Sword Link too on top of that, it would be even less reason to still have Toon Link, IMO (and less excuse to not declone Ganon).

But anyhow, yeah. I agree that this game has one of the best storylines of the series, if not the best.

Finally got a chance to play for a few hours today. So far the only issue I've had with the controls was once not getting the skyward charge to... charge, which I'm pretty sure was my fault. The directional slashes in the training room, and while I was explaining the tech to my mom, were spot-on and responsive.

My 10-year-old brother, who received the game as a gift, had more trouble with the controls... but he did not calibrate the remote properly at the start, and was flicking the remote around like crazy when attacking instead of making deliberate cuts.

The controls start to really shine once you enter the first dungeon. 😄

Indeed, and are a big improvement over Twilight Princess's one way or the other. IMO at least.

"Worst Zelda game I have ever played."

I'm interested in watching this... when I get home.

I made the right decision not posting that here!

But I did in the OTT so yeah.

Not sure why anyone still watches that guy's reviews... The guy is the world's biggest dumbass.

I'm fairly certain they are satirical reviews... But still they are not even that funny.

Indeed. It's kinda sad that they're posted in pretty much every game thread here too.

His stuff mostly seems to be for the lulz, I don't really take it seriously. I do find some of it pretty funny though. As with every media personality... his older stuff was better. When it was more real and visceral...

I am interested to see this one though. Hopefully it's amusing.

It sounds like perfectly valid criticism to me, I'd say he hit it right on the money.

Pretty much the only criticsm I heard in his endless ranting was that the controls were delayed by a second. And this is the first time I've heard of such a thing happening indicating either his controller is faulty or he is just making shit up.

I just love it how Yahtzee manages to get people all teary-eyed and butthurt with his reviews.
