STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Respite

I'm guessing that the blow-up-the-debris option would also be the blow-up-Vera option, so Xeth is going to set the ship in idle or hover and jump into the water, leaving his weapons behind to make sure nothing gets fried.

He'll take his pike, actually.

Xeth will try to swim under the debris and find Vera, using the Force to reach out for her.

R3 is happy to take over while you dive in.

You dive in with as much grace as a bug willingly jumping into water can muster. It is murky from debris and bestirred sand... your Jedi senses allow you to get a feel for where Vera-Kin might be.

Xeth will swim that way!

Are you relying on your Jedi senses alone to see around?

I can't think of anything else to clear the water. So yes. I figure Xeth has a decent connection with Vera-Kin that he can find her.

Not being related and not having been trained by Master Vera-Kin, the connection is not all that significant... however, two successes is enough to guide you toward a particularly large piece of debris. Looks like a segment of barricade wall.

Does it look moveable?

It would be an extreme effort.

Xeth could try a Strength roll. I believe he gets his Vigilante bonus there.

That you do! It will be a Hard roll, even for Xeth.

Give it a go!

You make a roll with six dice, but only show a single 6.

It is much too heavy for you, Xeth.

Xeth will go up for air real quick then go back down to see if he can maybe move rocks/rubble under this large slab to make a path under it.

You take your second look and realize real quick that if you move anything, the slab is going to drop down on Vera-Kin.

Xeth is frustrated. He lacks the physical strength to move it, something he normally prides himself on, and lacks the strength of mind to move the slab with the Force.

How long does he have until this becomes fatal for Vera?

Not long. You need added strength or this will not move.

Could I use the ship somehow? Maybe hook a cable to the slab and drag it away or lift it up.

That's possible. It would be a Dexterity roll from you to tie it up properly and a Pilot roll from R3 to do it without crushing Vera.

Could I tie it and get into my ship? Or too much time?

Do I get my acrobat bonus?

You'd be delaying, and no, you do not.
