Can you name an instance of a lightsaber failing to cut through a non-energy related material.

Vader isn't nearly adept in telepathy(atleast to my knowledge) to be of a threat to Iron Man. Iron Man is far smarter than Vader and I've never heard of a Force-sensitive mind raping someone.
So, how does Stark usually handle telekinetics/telepaths?Any countermeasures in the old armor?

Welding.Or possibly general construction droids. Seriously reinforced stuff, whatever they were.
There's another case of Luke trying to cut some sort of lava beast, and his lightsaber just diffuses through it like light through a prism.
Please post a scan or something of the construction droid if you have time.

You'd have to look towards EU material for mind raping stuff.
Joruus C'baoth in the Heir to the Empire series was reprogramming minds and taking direct control of most of the crew of Imperial fleet, and his powers stretched across light years. He'd probably crush Stark.

The droid cutting thing is something I have in novel form. No idea if a comic version exists.
And as for the lava monster, Luke tried cutting it, and it didn't damage the monster, and descriptions of a light show happening from the attempt were given. Since the creature is organic, there must be something in it's fleshy parts that prevented it from being injured, even as other aspects of it diffused the lightsaber a fireworks show.

^How many accounts has he made?I think he started out as red redemption. And is there any way to ban his IP address.
that's impossible unless the guy doesn't know how to use a pc because you can fix that in like seconds.
anyways back on topic...ive been reading back and forth from everyone and the thing that concerns me is.......
do people seriously think a laser sword wont cut through Tony's armor?
i mean maybe if he had a magnetic field to wrap around the blade but i don't see anything else stopping it.

Afaik, the only non-force-enhanced, lightsaber proof materials in the SWU are: Cortosis, Phrik, Tikulini skin, Darkswords, and Beskar.

Yep he has mind raped Boba Fett before.
Vader easily and convincingly. Even suit vadar would still win imo. All that are really needed are force choke or crush.. and pre cog and a lightsaber to block laser shots or if the battle got up close and personal. I'm not sure if someone else answered the question about the EU being canon... and it most certainly is. Whether statements come from an "all knowing data bank source" as opposed to third party limited.. etc etc is another matter.
Like speed is going to be an advantage against Iron Man. 🙄
He isn't much faster in combat speed. He's more mobile in movement. Vader has been detailed as fighting at pretty fast speeds.
Suit Vader dwarfs Pre-Suit Vader in Force mastery and power. Suit Vader is also the more technically skilled lightsaber combatant of the two(overall Anakin is a much more dangerous swordsman, but Vader would probably own him). Suit Vader would crush Pre-Suit Vader in a fight and stands a much better chance against Iron Man than his former self.
Suit Vader had years to fine tune his TK/force-related powers, along with his pre-cog -- and coincidentally, those are the abilities he would need to be fine tuned in this match if he wants to win.
Having said that, I really don't think pre-suit Vader would do very well against Tony for a couple reasons... (i) He was extremely conflicted/doubtful of himself (which drastically hindered his abilities.) (ii) He wasn't as adept with the force as he'd have/need to be here.

Pre-suit vader isn't as experienced but he is also much faster.
exactly because if a pre-suited vader had as much training and emotional control as suited vader then little orphan Annie would be so much more powerful.
The fact that Vader lost limbs also cost him Force power.
