As Galan stated, their are a few things that can resist lightsabers. Darth Vader's suit is apparently on of them in certain areas.It'll go through Iron Man's suit without issue though.
But yeah, I absolutely think a lightsaber would cut Tony's armor like it wasn't even there.... Don't think Vader would need to resort to that, though.

Technically, yes, but when you see Tony fight people like Hulk, Namor, etc. it's kinda hard to envision Vader just outrightly crushing it.

Welding droids in one of the novels. The Lightsaber just bounced off whatever material they were made of. I think it was The Crystal Star, but it's been a long time since I've read them.
