Yeah, I thought so too.

What the hell is Spider-man doing in that Chaos War cover? Isn't this supposed to be a "Cosmic" book? I normally don't complain nor care about covers but I find it downright stupid here.

Mikaboshi might have attacked Earth that time.Spiderman might still be in that waking-sleep state when he did attack. Here's the Cover for Chaos War#4

Cover by Dan Panosian.

Comic on sale in 12/8/2010

That is... turrible

So far it feels like Marvel's attempt at making a DC crisis crossover.

And failing horribly. 😂

i dont like that art...

i agree. so as long as no street level guy ends chaos war it's going to be ok

I don't think Chaos War is unfocused per se, it was just the cover that stroke me as annoying. I like Herc and the God Squad -it keeps bringing back the Eternals which I throughly enjoy-, and I can even admit I've liked a lot of what Pak has done recently; but I'm just probably a little sore that they kind of cut the momentum of the actual cosmic event we had this year and that they gave much more publicity to this one, with a random Spider-man on top of everything -we know Spidey and Wolverine are marketing faces-.

The event on itself has been on the slow side compared with Sacred Invasion, but nothing tragic.

do u think surfer will get another upgrade for this.
IF he is not skyfather level

you think so?
it lacks scale to be considered similar to a crisis event.

I said it's trying and failing, not that it is one.

The Chaos King attacking pretty much every Hell dimension and plane of reality is very Crisis-esque.

Unfortunately he's a poor, poor, poor, extremely poor man's Anti-Monitor with strokes of Nekron.

Quesada: "Pak! We need to make clones of Final Crisis and Black Night, can you deliver for us?"

Pak: "Only if you dance like an orangutan."

And we all know what happened next.

and I'm saying you are comparing a weaker Marvel event to a DC major event.

There are bigger arks in Marvel closer to the Crisis (at least scale wise).

Currently even Thanos Imperative seems to be "bigger" than chaos war

If you look at Marvel's advertising right now they seem to consider it a peer of such major events as COIE and Secret Wars, they even market it as "more Cosmic than Annihilation" and "bigger than the Infinity Gauntlet". So my comparison is based on Marvel's own assessment of this story.

TI is bigger, which is unfortunate considering Marvel (read: Pak and Queseda) seems to think the opposite and are supporting Chaos War at TI's expense.

yeah the marketing department was desperate to present something grand. so far nothing justifies this promotion.

let's wait and see.
however we should assess an event from the actual story and not by the promo campaign shit

I'm just glad Alpha Flight is coming back, wether their stay is for good we shall see.

felt the same for original Vision.

can't stand the teenage version

were are the previews for chaos war 5? some people already have them

I like the Young Avengers, I just think Vision was a much better character than any of them. My same logic goes for Scarlet Witch.

i would love it if the god squad were losing then galactus tells surfer he still has the uni lords power in him and then surfer kicks ass
