if you read the book you will understand that this is not the case
Yeah so I read the book, and saw Zeus punch Galactus in the face, Galactus retaliates and blasts Zeus to no effect, Zeus then T-Bolts him resulting in Galactus crumbling to the ground (2 pieced). Hercules after a brief speech with Zeus flies into him ripping him out of his armor (or shredding it) and puts Zeus out of the fight (1 pieced). Did I miss something?

1. theres very good arguments that galactus was weekend since hercules summoned him right when he was about to feed in issue 2.
2. there also is the possiblity that mikaboshi amped zeus
3. zeus was just playing like he was dying so hercules could reveal the throne room to mikabshi

Herc: the idiot
My friend was into comics back in 1980's, and was surprise Hercules is still a continuing character in Marvel with power upgrades.
"I remember him as a idiot brute, almost like the Hulk"
My response: "He still is and he funny"

Yes.
1. Zeus is Mikaboshi along with all the pantheons he enslaved and not just Zeus.
2. He let Herc think he set him free by beating him just to reveal the throne room

And the fact Silver Surfer was enraged in Chaos War Issue 2 and even called the heroes "Arrogant Fools!" SS even mentions Galactus was seconds from sating himself in an uninhabited nitrogen rich planetoid in the pleiades.
In addition to TI #6, I read Chaos War: Thor today
Spoiler:
Glory is an awesome concept. However, there was indeed some plot device that enables Thor to "survive" Glory's attacks, mainly something called "the Spark" which has so far seems synonymous to Thor's will or fighting spirit...not really sure. Anyway, some monster feats for Thor in this issue as he basically absorbs Glory's attacks into mjolnir and redirects it at Glory, ending the creature...seemingly. Thor is reverted back to human form because of the battle and falls into earth and is cared for by some woman. A "de-powered" version of Glory appears at the woman's door step though and that is the end of issue 1.
