freedom of speech extends to the point and stops where you are inciting violence and physical injury to others..

which is why you cant scream fire inside a crowded theater.. but, it has to be proven your intend was to cause panic and knowingly were aware that ppl would be injured..

if you say it was an accident or were not aware that there was no fire and in no way were aware that ppl would be hurt you would be fine...

nah.. ppl are free to say whatever they want but having said that they have to also take responsibility for what they say and some times a fist to the face is the result.

And sometimes getting thrown in jail for racism is the result. No real difference that I can see. Obey or be punished.

racism isnt a crime.. police has no grounds to arrest anyone for racist views... on the other hand if some one wishes to hit me for being offended thats fine b/c they are not law enforcement with an oath uphold the law and constitution

So we pick a society where racism a crime. Still exactly the same. Obey or be punished, the other difference is who the enforcer is.

In the one instance your punish people for not being racist enough and it's good because you're doing it. In the other I punish people for being racist and it's bad because, uh, it's not you I suppose.
