Better yet, look at the SS, thanos, galactus, guardians of the galaxy, nova, starlord, drax, gamorra, superskrull, firelord, stardust, ronan, etc. articles and see the annihilation sections they're bound to have. It's canon. It was major crossover event.

DON'T GIVE ME THAT BULL.You do not accept feats of Superman for All Star Superman. Why should We accept feats of a non canon issue? just because according to you they are "similar"?
Please.
And read the post before. The description of the "cosmic power" is at best vague and it has so many contradictions.
I said IF it comes from with in, then SUPERMAN'S IONIZATION won't work
But if it does not, then is different!
Based on the descriptions of the "power cosmic" you cannot know for sure.
At best We agree to disagree on this.

Not really, Surfer noted the difference between Firelord's fire and regular fire in their first fight. Plus the whole thing where Surfer's all but immune to heat...
OK so according to that comic he is imprevious to the heat in a sun, but not the heat if Firelord.
Is He also imprevious to any other type of heat? regardless where it comes from?
Does it say anywhere that ONLY the heat from Firelord will do something to him? or We are just assuming here?

So originally and actually from the issue where that scan came from if the ORIGINAL one shot and it was not canon.
Then a series of spin-offs came and now is canon.
Still it contradicts what ever they said before about the cosmic power and it's explination is at best inconsistent

I just want to make sure is not from a non-canon issue
Their is clearly a bit too much yardage between the goal posts with this fellow. Annihilation isnt Canon? Do u even read comics at all?facepalm............bufoon
Originally posted by biensalsaWhat? I dont even know what the hell you're talking about. Annihilation had a prologue that was canon, a one-shot. The actual Anihillation War event spanned over a dozen titles and miniseries, all canon. Its effects have been referenced again and agian throughout another dozen titles including the ones that came directly from it. It cant get anymore canon than that. Where did you get the idea that it isn't?

That scan isnt from a oneshot either.

And since I know you place a lot of emphasis on the opinion of the character's creator, I just thought I'd point out that Stan Lee wrote that issue.

Look Chapel
I do, but I can't read all of them AND I am asking to someone who is not clearly a SS fan like yourself, if annhilation isn't canon.
For what I read, It was ORIGINALLY a one shot , that became so popular, THEN it became part of meinstream.

Pretty much, and it's specifically covered in the fight that Firelord's flames are only effective because they're a product of Galactus.(No temperature can affect him)

So WE are assuming then.
I do care what Stan Lee has to say about it, but also Stan KO him with a rock. So let just leave it at that

Anyhow, I have to say, pretty good scan there and I will have conceded IF Silver Surfer were not full of inconsistencies. My scan contradicts yours and mine is comming from GALACTUS itself, so you do the math. Not only that but this too:Anyhow, THE LAST SCAN explains that the BOARD is made from the SAME MATERIAL as the Silver Surfer's skin, So I guess enough heat will destroy his body, like firelord destroyed his board.
No, it really does not contradict.. If you look at receptacle in the dictionary it means a container that receives and hold something which in this case is ambient energy.. Think of him as a rechargeable battery, not the body but his life force..
Right! The board is of similar material as the body and there durability is back up by the amount of pc however the presence/amount of pc contained within it is far less this is why it is not as durable..

Who cares about the rock, it was launched by Karnak during a period where Surfer was at a fraction of his full power. It's no more relevant to his current character than Supes's exploding gas station. Anyway, aren't you the one who said you'd buy anything Lee said about the character...
